I called yesterday to ask if they would be able to look at my vehicle and the guy I spoke with said they were very busy but if I was able to drop it off he would for certain look at it that day and make test what I was needing done so I could make sure that was the problem. My husband drove the car to the shop and got there a few minutes before me and went it and talked to the same guy that I had and was told he "couldn't do anything" until Thursday. I'm confused how one person gets one answer and someone else gets another, that isn't how you run a business. We have a line of credit through Firestone which is why we tried to go through them to have our fuel pump replaced but after the interaction we just opted to replace it ourselves instead. I'm already being charged an insane amount for something really simple to fix, the attitude is unnecessary.

I have had nothing but the best experience with the Firestone on Hwy K by 70 and Aldi’s and Pool King, so when I called to schedule an oil change I didn’t realize that I wasn’t paying attention and made the appointment with the one on the other end of K by Hwy N. Everyone that I talked to on the phone and inside the building including the (manager?) Kurt and especially the young man working inside that helped me were super nice and awesome.
HOWEVER, after I paid and got my keys I walked out to my car and could clearly see through the drivers side window that someway somehow whoever worked on my car must have accidentally or inadvertently bumped into my door hard enough to bust the whole top half of the door lock button/mechanism completely off. It wouldn’t have even really been that big of a deal if they would have just owned up to it and been like hey man, I’m really sorry but when I was getting in and out of the car I accidentally bumped into it and it snapped off, probably just from old age, and I would have completely understood and respected the honesty and not even worried about it. Now I don’t know of course for sure, but I would imagine that in order to exhort that much force to snap it completely off it would have had to have made a loud enough snap or crack that one would have noticed and even if they didn’t when you go to shut the door it’s almost impossible not to look right at it and notice that it’s broken. I guess there is always a small chance that they could have not happened to hear it or notice but if that is how much care they give to other peoples property then I’m darned sure not going to want to come back and do business with them again.
Now I do realize they probably have many days where they have to deal with a lot of very rude customers who complain and moan about all kinds of things and get treated with undue disrespect and unkindness. And I will admit, Kurt did handle it the best I could expect him to for the most part. He realized that being an 07 it could be highly unlikely that I would be able to find a replacement part without having to go to a junkyard so he did offer that if I went and found one and paid for it and brought him the receipt he would reimburse me for it, which was a fair and reasonable resolution. It’s just still a little disheartening knowing I’m going to have to find and make time to go find and track one down and drive to who knows where or how far to get it and then pay for it and come get the reimbursement and then pay someone however much in labor it would take to fix it u less I could figure it out on my own. But then I did happen to find the snapped off piece in the back floorboard and he suggested just gorilla gluing it to see if that could fix it. But then I would have the constant reminder ever time I looked at it and if it got too hot in the summer time and melted and came back off being a possibility it makes me really want to fix it right even though it’s an older car, it’s still mine & I’ve taken really good care of it and my father taught me to never half-butt anything. And as a matter of principle, I feel like it should be replaced proper due to the (potential) negligence. I don’t often post negative reviews as you can see from my history unless I feel strongly about something and usually post excellent reviews for good service and would have posted 5 stars just for the principle of it if I had been notified of it upfront & not had to walk out and see it like that, but I feel that anyone else should know that does business or is considering doing business with this location that there may be the possibility that if there are other poor reviews from this location also, then there may be a reason or common denominator. Anyway, thank you Kurt and the awesome young man who helped me for going above and beyond and sorry to have to lump you in with the bad rating, but as an overal experience that is just how I feel is justified and warranted. I will post pics if it will let me.

Wouldn't even waste your time with this place. Called corporate to setup an appointment (Sunday 9.29.24) and then verified with the store (Monday 9.30.24) that they were good to go. Called back today (10.3.24) they can't get the tires and have no idea about my appointment. Very terrible service and do not recommend giving them well over $1k for terrible service they can't even deliver on.

Unfortunately what we were told would be a same day service we could wait while they performed (an emissions recheck that took 20 minutes) and didn't need an appointment for we had to fight to get completed today. We were told it couldn't be done today and our car needed to be left overnight because it was too late in the day. It is 4:16p and they close at 7:00p. The person who told us we didn't need an appointment for this literally went and hid while we were there. Lazy, dishonest, and unprofessional. We will not be returning.

WOW What a great automotive repair shop!
Just recently moved to the area and had to get my car safety inspectioned. Had that done at a local oil change place. After thay took it to Firestone to get the items replaced/repaired.
They had at it done inside a day and at a very reasonable price!
They will be getting ALL my automotive work!
