I was sad the original location had a huge line. I still wanted some Pappys, and this locatiom was still pretty good. They don't have fried corn! I was pretty disappointed cause that's what I was looking forward to having...cause the other location has it. The meats were good though and I got a sweet tie dye shirt!

Don't eat strip mall BBQ? That's your loss! Pappy"s Smokehouse is the best BBQ I've eaten in St. Louis. From the Blues piping out of the sound system to the sheet metal on the walls, the atmosphere tKes me home. The staff is friendly and helpful. All great! Oh! I almost forgot... THE FOOD. Perfectly smoked. Sauce to your taste at the table. Prices were inline with my expectations. I'm absolutely going back!!

Awesome BBQ, the ribs are fall off the bones, chicken nice and moist, full of flavor, slaw tangy but not overly, baked were also very good. After the ribs, the cornbread is one of the best. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Oh Pappy’s, you made this girl very happy. It is quite literally legendary BBQ. There is a reason it is famous. The best beans I have ever had. I don’t think there’s anything I can say that other people haven’t already, this place is amazing. We waited in line about 20 minutes to eat, and it was worth every second. (if you complain about the wait time, you’re a fool. It is one of the most famous barbecue places in the country, you’re gonna have to wait!) The staff was super friendly and very polite. My only complaint is that the hallways (waiting area) are very slim and there’s really not enough room there considering that is also where the bathrooms are. Does it triumph over Nashville BBQ? I’ll have to come back and give a full report! 👀
