I had never heard of this place, but I'm glad we went here for lunch. They actually had a brunch/lunch menu. How often do you see that on a non weekend day? I went super basic today with a turkey wrap and fries, but it was very good and filled me up for the long walk down Main Street. Our server was cool and did an outstanding job. And, being on Main Street, it's an old building. It had a sweet bad, and the decorations around the tables was shelves stocked with books, so there was a hint of privacy (nice touch, BTW). I was impressed with all aspects of the visit. Keep up the excellent work!!

Located in the heart of Downtown St. Charles, this fantastic restaurant on Main Street is a must-visit! The vibrant atmosphere is elevated by live music on Saturday evenings, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Their Happy Hour, offered on both Friday and Saturday nights, is a great way to kick off the weekend. Special shoutout to Nate, the incredible bartender who can craft any cocktail to perfection, even if it’s not on the menu. The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly a culinary delight. The unique library-themed decor adds a charming and sophisticated touch to the overall experience. Highly recommend!

Came for lunch and sat at the bar. I tried their Fish & Chips. I’m use to the VFW fish fries on Fridays and their fish is frozen then deep fried in oil. I don’t know what I was thinking. The fish had more breading than actual fish. Their fries came out hot and crispy which saved the meal. I got excellent service from the barmaid. Parking is on Main St or there is a public parking garage one block west of the restaurant.

I literally have no words! I found Novellus on the fly for a last minute brunch, but this place will be my first option from now on !!!! Our server Paulina was so nice and stylish and she was very attentive. We ordered the smothered waffles and tacos and MAN! I literally cleaned my plate! Chef did an amazing job!

One of my favorite restaurants. Never had a food item that wasn't good and we've tried different entrees every time. Customer service is always excellent.
