I had a fantastic experience with Used Jewelry selling two sets of sterling silverware along with a sterling Mexican coffee/tea set. A total of around $6k. I had done my homework, so I knew what to expect regarding the intricacies of valuation. Plus, I had already visited another dealer right down the street from us (the Scotsman) and was actually planning on going with them. But when I made a follow-up phone call to clarify some details, the buyer at Scotsman was so indifferent and unhelpful I decided to see what else was out there. So glad I did! I made a phone enquiry to Used Jewelry and Tracy (I believe) was so friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable that I decided to ditch The Scotsman and brought my silver collection to Used Jewelry Buyer instead. A whole different experience. When I showed up the next day, Tracy was occupied, so Charles handled my affairs. He was just as friendly and knowledgeable and completely transparent about the fee structure (with sterling, dealer’s cut is approx 20%). He weighed all the silver right in front of me on the counter. He helped me (dispassionately, no hard sell) consider the pros and cons of taking our Mexican coffee/tea set to an auction house (I nixed it). Also: while the Scotsman had offered only .25 ozt for our sterling dinner knives (instead of the more standard .5 ozt), Used Jewelry matched what I had read online. Thanks so much Used Jewelry! You made what I was worried might be a stressful transaction, a piece of cake. I’ll be back!

I was looking for a jewelry store who could help me remove a ring. It was on so tightly, and my finger was swelling so badly it hurt. Not only did they teach me a trick to remove rings, they got mine off without having to cut it. This store is amazing and so helpful! Definitely some of the best customer service I’ve received in a jewelry store!!! I definitely recommend seeing them before any name brand places like kays and etc. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR HELPING ME SAVE MY RING!!!!!

I have been coming here a couple years now. I've sold a few watches to them. They pay more than other places would for my scrap gold and silver. I think a lot of these people leaving bad reviews get offended when they find out their jewelry isn't worth much. I don't see anything offensive about their offers, they're in line and even higher than most competitors in the area. But then again I'm not selling $8k bracelets from fashion brands either and getting my feelings hurt when I find out my Cartier bracelet is just an extremely expensive novelty that would be hard for anyone to sell. I believe that's why they took it there to begin with, because they couldn't find a buyer. Also Charles and Brian have educated me a great deal on coins which I knew nothing about until recently.

I've been here several times and have not had a bad experience left disappointed a time or 2 but only because I thought the jewelry left to me would have been worth more but after being out All day and driving as far as Troy MO for estimates on the jewelry he still offered the most. I've brought others to sell their things and have never had a bad experience
