I went to Detail Driven Carwash today to have my truck cleaned. I paid for the $44 Extreme Wash. The last time I used this carwash I was not happy but thought I would try them again. Overall, the truck looked good but closer inspection showed that there were areas missed. I do a lot of photography outdoors so my truck can get dusty. I cleaned the door frames ahead of the carwash because I know it can be tedious cleaning. Before leaving after the truck was washed and the interior cleaned, I mentioned that the driver side armrest was still dirty. The supervisor or owner came and cleaned it with some degreaser but then said that if I want to keep that area clean, I need to use Armor All. The other side was clean. Also, the passenger side mirror was still folded from the carwash. It was then that it was pulled into the correct position and cleaned. After I got home, I took a closer look and saw that the passenger side door panel was still dirty. The photo shows where I wet my finger to clean a spot. The bottom of the door panel storage was vacuumed but not wiped, as can be seen in the photo. I will be looking for a new full-service carwash place to get my truck cleaned when it needs it.

Zero stars for sure. I got the best wash the offer the $44 one. Tipped and the car looked terrible. I took it back up and the manager was rude. I showed them how it looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned. He had an attitude and finally made them redo it. When they “redid” it looked no different. Worst car wash I’ve ever been to. If I wanted to clean it myself I would’ve.

I have been a customer of the Lake St. Louis site since they originally opened. The service was generally good, but over the last several months, I've noticed less attention to detail during each visit. By this, I mean the hand drying process, like only doing half the windshield and half the hood or not applying tire shine. I recently bought my daughter a new car and took it here. I paid for the "Ultimate Express Wash." Again, the worker did not dry the windows or mirrors. And guess what? There was no tire shine, but he did include a bit of rudeness. Between all of this and the fact that I am not using the service enough to justify the price, I called them yesterday. Nobody answered the phone the first several attempts, so I left a voicemail. Someone called me back that afternoon and said that he would take care of the cancellation. Now I see that they went right ahead and charged my card on file today! I hope they enjoy the "tip" because I won't return. BTW: I also viewed the responses from the business owner and found most of them to be somewhat accusatory and flippant. That's sad - I know the owner's father and would not expect this. Customer care and response tell a lot about a company. This is especially important in a market that is in no shortage of competitors.

I have been a Waterway clean car club member for the past 34 years (yes I’m old) and just cancelled my WW membership to become a new customer at Detail Driven car wash. I have visited the hwy N location several times to try their services and am amazed at the difference between Waterway and Detail Driven. Their name says it all!! The Manager Rich has really instilled a sense of pride in his staff by always doing a great job on the cars, and being extremely helpful and friendly. G Reed
