I am a teacher and 1st time Mom. To say the least I had major anxiety sending my son to any daycare program. My son had never stayed with anyone but family prior to starting at ABC. I cant say enough about the staff and teachers at ABC. They are friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and kind to say a few. My son enjoys going to school and is receiving a well rounded social emotional and academic introduction, while making friends and building positive relationships with adults and peers.
This is the second ABC daycare branch my son has been to. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and engaged. I am greeted every morning by multiple staff members. They work hard to accommodate my son's dietary restrictions, though sometimes these details can get lost during staff shuffles or turnover. They have learning activities that always leave me impressed. I can trust that they are always working to improve their already wonderful organization.
Not for kiddos who suffer a social/emotional delay. The admins are extremely rude. Upon hotlining the other center (Garvey) the owner of the daycares attacked me verbally for PROTECTING my daughter (she had trialed at that location even though my son was still at St Peters location)!!! Instead of apologizing or asking what happened she immediately assumed it was a personal attack on a separate issue that was happening. I ended up leaving in tears because of her attitude and disrespect towards me. Never a good sign to begin with. She ended up siding with the teacher always (at this location) never gave a plan of action more than a day before deciding it didnt work. Then a week later kicked my daughter out. I recommend Kindercare who has a been amazing to my daughter this last year and is NAECYC accredited and has never even considered kicking out my dauggter!
Thanks for nothing. I spent a lot of money and maybe we have issues but when I need a professional to observe my child in an environment he is comfortable in and you say NO. I can't even get my child the help he needs. They look like they care on the outside but when it comes down to it they don't. Thanks for nothing
I interviewed here last week. The main reason this center stuck out to me was they offer health insurance, dental, and vision which is something I needed. When I walked in the director seemed welcoming and the facility was neat and organized which is another plus. As I filled out my application the employees who passed me by were all friendly enough to greet me. Then when the director called me in for an interview she took me in to a comfortable and clean office. The only two things that influenced my two star rating is the fact that this place seemed very corporate, kind of like kindercare, and the fact that during my interview the director shamed me for switching jobs twice this year. She seemed not so understanding when I began to explain my own trials and tribulations as a single mom. Even if she wasn't going to give me a call back, she should have at least pretended to be understanding. It just seems like common courtesy to me. That was the moment I knew that as long as she is the director of this facility I am uninterested in working for them. I forgot her name but she is has blonde hair and glasses.
