My son has been enrolled in ABC daycare for roughly 3 months and he has received excellent care. Initially my husband and I were very nervous enrolling him into daycare because he stayed home with us for 16 months and we were frightened about COVID, however ABC made us feel so comfortable with allowing us to call throughout the day to check on our son. It did not take our son long to adapt and not cry during drop off which reassured us that he is being treated appropriately. Regarding COVID guidelines, this daycare has been extremely responsible in keeping children safe, requiring masking of all guardians dropping off children and teachers in the center. This honestly gave my husband and I an extra layer of comfort. If you are in the area and looking for professional and quality daycare services I highly recommend this establishment.

My son has gone to ABC daycare since he was 4 months old (he is now 3.5 years old). I switched from a horrible in-home daycare after just one month to this reliable, safe, and caring center at ABC on Hwy K. His teachers through the years have always been so willing to talk to me and listen to any thoughts/concerns I have, but first and foremost, they love my son like their own! I know he is in great hands with this staff, including the amazing Director and Assistant Director. Anytime someone asks for a recommendation on a daycare in Saint Charles County, ABC’s multiple locations are always my top choice! Keep up the good work. :)

My son has attended ABC since he was 2. He is now almost 6 and our experience at ABC has been amazing! He has learned and grown so much, and I am confident that he is more than ready to go into kindergarten. He has loved everyone of his teachers and has truly blossomed. The location and hours are perfect for this single, full-time working mom. I also love how friendly the teachers and directors are and I will miss talking their ears off when he goes to kindergarten. I highly recommend ABC O’Fallon

My son Derrick started school here in August when he was 14 months. It has been almost 3 months and he loves it! They are all so sweet and seem to really care about my baby. He learns and interacts with children his age! Which is important because he is a Covid baby that did not get a chance to socialize the 1st 14 months of his life! I recommend this facility 100%

My son attended ABC Learning Center for 10 months. He was making vast improvements at ABC. He was beginning to interact more with other children and sit during group time. We were filled with joy with the way things were going. Now, these may not seem like things most people would be so happy about, but for our 2 1/2 year old non verbal autistic son, these things were huge.
Two months ago my son got a new teacher. All of a sudden my son stopped napping, stopped participating in group time, and stopped interacting with his peers as he had begun to do previously. My husband and I had gotten a lot of feedback about our child no longer sleeping, so we took him back to the sleep specialist, within a week he was napping again, every day. We even had a meeting that one of the directors, Jeanette, had insisted on us having on Black Friday. We discussed the aforementioned issues that had begun with the transition of this new teacher, and how we would work with his therapists who come to see him every week to try and resolve them, again.
Monday December 11th I got a phone call at work from Jeanette. She was frantic stating that we need to have another meeting ASAP because my son was out of control. She stated he was tackling and hitting children. I was obviously stunned. This is not a behavior that we have ever witnessed from our child, or ever heard of or been notified of by anyone else. I asked her where this was coming from, when did this start? She then advised me they have had an issue with aggressive behavior from my child for about a week. I ask why this had never been on a report card or why his teacher had never said anything to myself or my husband about this, I get no good answer. I also tell her that I believe the new teacher is not a good fit for my child and none of this happened before she was involved. I told her what my mother had witnessed dropping my son of earlier that week, which was the new teacher yelling at a little girl in the classroom. Asking repeatedly, “what do you want?!” Jeanette immediately dismissed my concerns.
My husband got a meeting scheduled with Jeanette for the very next day December 12th at 3:15pm, my sons therapist was also attending this meeting. She was going to help us explain to the administrators that this new teacher was creating this behavior in my child and try to explain how it could be fixed. The next morning, December 12th, I received another phone call from Jeanette at work. Again she was frantic, she advised me that I needed to come pick up my son immediately, and that he will no longer be attending ABC Learning Center because her teacher was in fear for her safety due to my child’s behavior. My 37lb toddler threw himself on the ground and was kicking his feet during a tantrum, happened to kick the teacher who I guess was trying to pick him up off of the floor, and was promptly kicked out of daycare.
Jeanette told me that she had my son locked in her office, and he had been in there for an hour before she called me at 10am, I dropped him off about 8am that morning.
I still cannot even put into words how disgusted I am with the lack of understanding, effort, and care that we got from these administrators. They never gave us a chance to correct this behavior that was caused by their new teacher. My poor boy who had never had a single behavior problem almost the entire year he attended this daycare got a week. That’s it that’s all that he got from them one week once the behavior began. Mind you they were getting $880 every month from us to care for him.
I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Especially not if you have a child with any kind of special needs, because as soon as they step one toe out of line ABC Learning Center will kick them right to the curb.
