My first visit to AB&J was with Dr. Spezia and was very impressed with his knowledge, care and concern. He listened to all my symptoms, took the necessary images and suggested we start with adjustments to my knee brace to see if using it would help and assess next steps from there. The entire staff and office is an efficient operation and I highly recommend AB&J. My second visit I was in for a knee brace fitting with Ryan and had a great experience. Ryan was not going to let me leave until he was sure the brace was pain free. Took the necessary time and made a few adjustments and success. Thanks Ryan!!
I was seen at the O’Fallon location yesterday as a walk-in to their urgent care. I could not be more thankful for the care I received from this facility. N.P Samantha Bunch was truly a blessing, along with the other staff members. All of my concerns were addressed and the staff here went above and beyond my expectations as a first-time back issue care seeker. The wait time was low. The staff worked very hard to help me as I was in excruciating pain. I feel very confident knowing this group of staff members will be managing my back issues. Thank you so much Advanced!
Very positive contact from arrival to leaving. The nurse who walked me in was very cordial. The doctor came in within minutes and assessed my complaints of pain. He administered the appropriate medication and I was done. I would recommend this office to friends and family.
I broke my ankle in February and Dr. Spezia was wonderful when I went in initially and they already had an appointment scheduled for surgery. After that surgery, I felt like I was not listened to by him or the NP. I was in a ridiculous amount of pain and was told to take tylenol in addition to the regular pain medication. Stated that I didn't feel heard to the NP. The next visit, I had a nurse, Dr. Spezia and the NP all in the office. There was no warning given or reasons for why the doctor was moving my foot around, and no assistance when I was wincing and curled up afterwards from the pain. Then they attempted to put my foot into a position to place the cast. Well, my foot was too swollen and I was in too much pain to do so. I felt like I was taken seriously when I said I couldn't do it and instead was being treated like I was simply dramatic. Overall, I hope that they introduce trauma informed training as that was an extremely overwhelming and triggering experience. The next few visits, I was able to have a wonderful nurse that helped me through the rest of my visits.
Every single person, from the doctors, to the nurses, to the ones that answer the phones are just the kindest and most helpful. I’m two weeks post surgery and it has been a great experience! I speak praises of Advanced Bone and Joint, especially Dr. Lombardo, to everyone! They are top notch!!
