They are great with their patients and help alleviate their distress. I would highly recommend them for on site patient care. However, part of that is taking calls, scheduling appointments and being nice on the phone. On 2 separate occasions I tried to reach someone by phone to set an appointment to get my family member some pain relief. They did not return my call after a leaving messages either. Should you be fortunate enough to get through, the 7th call of the day was the charm for me, don't expect that the answering person will want to help you. The person that answered my call had an attitude from the get go, haughty sighs and I had the distinct feeling helping me was too much bother. Long story longer, She was unnecessarily rude. I hate to see a good medical team hurt but such inefficient, untrained and unprofessional phone etiquette.

I had planned on giving this office a 5 star review, as I had a fantastic experience getting seen & their team identifying the herniated disc I’ve been dealing with for 6months. Nursing staff is very professional and great with listening to the issues/being empathetic. Apparently that promptness was due to my doctor submitting a referral. Good luck getting anyone from the office to call you back. I’ve been leaving messages all week to get scheduled for my next step, after leaving 2 messages and submitting an online inquiry today I was finally called back but missed their call, turns out they called after business hours so I still couldn’t reach anyone that could help me. Maybe this review and a message to the office manager through their after hours line will finally get me a call back for scheduling.

    1) What kind of "advanced" bone and joint place is designed so that the person with painful joints MUST STAND to interact with the reception people? The reception people have their faces completely blocked by multiple screens. One must stand and look over the screens to find the human. There are no chairs near the reception windows. 2) They are too greedy to pay a human to answer the phone so one gets a voice message that says they will call you back "within 24 hours". Then, they do not even do that. Sometimes it is more than 48 hours. 3) They are too greedy to use MyChart or another reputable app to allow patients to message caregivers, etc. No APP to download and the system they use is CLUNKY. 4) When my pharmacy attempted to get authorization for a refill they called and sent electronic requests repeatedly but could not get a response. Apparently, if the answer is no to the refill then they just ignore the query. Totally unprofessional. The pharmacist said it was not unusual for this practice. Embarrassing for me! 5) I ended up satisfied with my joint replacement and the doctor/practitioner but there must be places that are less frustrating. The practice is set up without any thought for patient convenience. Completely disrespectful patient interface. Greed is the only reason that I can imagine that a medical practice would choose such a patient UNFRIENDLY configuration.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Had wrist pain so went to family practice for x-rays. Based on what they saw, they immediately referred me to AB&J. Tech at AB&J saw "nothing" except possible arthritis. Contacted famiy practice who then referred me to another orthopedic who did see the injury. Even though cost was only $35, it is the principal. AB&J should reimburse me. Called office and left message but no one contacted me.

I, again went in for an appointment. This however was a 1 week post-op appointment. Dr Lombardo, & his nurses are all both amazing, & a thorough group. Not that I wanted this surgery, trust me. But, Dr Lombardo has worked with me thru all possibilities of putting it off. Not often do you see a doctor trying to do that for their patients. While also treating them to keep the pain at bay! But when you just can’t walk & that’s a pivotal part of our personal & my professional life. It tends to get to the point you just have to “bite the bullet” & get it done. As I’ve been diagnosed with the issue for well over a decade, close to 2 decades. But it would lay dormant for years. And 2024, it reared its ugly head & was unrelenting. I had the 1st surgery in 2010 on the opposite foot. So if that says anything about how long I’ve been thru the wringer with it. Again, Dr Lombardo, surgery scheduler & nurses are amazing to make this work!
