The experience i had with the placement of a heart stint with Dr. Ziaee was handled with the greatest care and expertise in any thing i have ever been involved in. The entire staff at the lab
was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable during the entire process. The professionals at work here know what they are doing.

Dr. Ziaee is a great doctor. He took all the time I needed and listened to all my concerns about my upcoming procedure and made me feel better about it. He’s a very caring doctor.

My doctor had very good tools to work with in the SSM cardiac lab! I will be back in 4 weeks for additional stent implants!

He's the best, hands down. Thanks to him I am alive. Also to the Outpatient Surgery staff at St. Josephs. Such nice nurses.

The surgery preparation surgery and Anesthesiologist was excellent.
Dr. Ziaee did an excellent job of installing a closer device for ASD in my upper chamber of my heart. My after care was less than desired. They took me to a room for recovery. When the brought my wife up the nurse station could not tell her where I was. They didn't know. It seemed that the nurses had trouble with the computer and the equipment that monitors my vitals. I was supposed to get an IV and never got it. I asked for Tylenol, not a controlled substance at least 5 times for pain, never got it until it was time to leave. After lying flat for 4 hours so I don't bleed I asked if I could get up to use the bathroom. The nurse said that she wanted to check my entry wound first.
There was some dried blood. And she said I was bleeding and started to apply pressure and continue to apply pressure for some time switching off without another nurse. And proceed to get bandages and a sand bag and brought up the cardiologist to look at it. And he immediately pulled the bandage off and said it was Residual dried blood that it was not a problem. So went through all of that pain for nothing. The nurses just didn't seem like they were very professional let alone new what they were doing. Was not a good experience as far as follow up care.
