This place has gone down hill.
They told us with 48 hours notice that they were closing their 2 year old room. That is on par for their communication, which has been deplorable the whole time my daughter went there. They do not feel the need to notify you of health occurrences throughout the day but expect you to drop everything at a moments notice when they could have notified earlier. They wait until the very last minute to notify parents that their center will be closed due to issues involving utilities that they were aware of for DAYS.
They have no security. I have walked in SEVERAL times and not been greeted. Any stranger can walk in and kids could walk out. No passcode system on the front door or locked door. They will claim that they greet every child, that is not the case.
Once your child is out of the 6 mo-2 year old room (yes they keep 6 weeks - 2 years in a single room) you will not receive communication regarding your child’s day. They do not offer electronic payment, app communication or any other amenities offered by other centers that charge less.
They have a revolving door of teachers (most likely due to their poor management). So you never know who will be caring for your child and the owners never communicate changing teachers either.
Mrs. Cheri should not be in childcare, she has no understanding of how to talk to children or teachers for that matter. She is incredibly rude, disrespectful and disingenuous. She expects children to sit and be quiet watching tv so she doesn’t have to exert energy. Mr. Mike touts that the center is a “family” but I guess they screw over family if that’s how they treat family. Very fake people.
Overall, one of the worst child care centers in the county. Wouldn’t send a pet cockroach to be cared for by these people.
To respond to their response, which is something I would expect out of this poor excuse of a business. If you greet every parent, why did I have to walk in and search for someone? Your daycare lacks security, end of story. Maybe the owners should work less or retire, because they obviously don’t have the capability. If their communication and management skills were passed on to their children (the only employees they can keep), it’s going to keep sliding downhill. I may be the only parent that has actually expressed my frustrations publicly, but rest assured other parents are frustrated and disappointed.
You must be absolutely deranged or delusional to think that I would ever come back. This center does not meet security, educational or communication requirements while being significantly more expensive compared to facilities that do. We were in the process of moving and your closure just reiterated and sped up the decision to find alternative care.

My son attended Amerikids last year after his summer camp ended and before school started. He loved it! The staff was very friendly, the center was clean, and we will definitely be returning this year!

AmeriKids has been a blessing to our family. We have been going there since October and our kids are so happy there. Mike, Cheri and staff go above and beyond for our kiddos and we appreciate the great care our kids receive while being there. We would definitely recommend this center to anyone looking. Great Faith Based, family run daycare.

Our two kids have attended Amerikids since they were each 3 months old. Almost six years later, we have nothing but excellent reviews for Amerikids. Mike, Cheri and all their staff have treated us and our two kids like family. They go above and beyond running a daycare and preschool. They have attended birthday parties on weekends and organized activities outside of the daycare for all the families and children. They have very low teacher turn over and their staff has always been very accommodating for any of our children needs. They have created a nice, clean and safe environment for our kids to learn and play. Both of our children have excelled in all their Parents as Teachers and school screenings thanks to the curriculums at Amerikids. They also teach the children about the word of the lord and values like honesty and faith in ways that make the kids excited and eager to learn more. They have a wonderful summer program that provides multiple field trip opportunities each day for the elementary kids to participate and fun events at their facility for the younger children. We have had a wonderful experience with Amerikids and created some lasting friendships between the directors, staff, parents and children.

Seriously can't stress enough what a blessing this place is to us. They are AMAZING! They are genuine unlike most daycares that put on a customer service face with you as a parent. And my son has had such a hard time adjusting at other places or creating relationships with teachers/peers but here he has warmed up so quickly. They truly care for your child and I cannot stress enough how much we love them! Very kind hearted people. I could go on and on. Thank you guys so much!!
