The communication in this studio is absolutely awful. There is no communication between the teachers and the parents nor the studio admin team and the families. I have sent 3 emails and left 3 voicemails over the last 2 weeks trying to get information on moving my daughter to another class and nobody has returned any of my correspondence. In the past when we have communicated with the admin she has been rude, short, and did not provide any supportive solutions. Our daughter has been attending regularly for over a year and none of what she is learning is new nor is there any variety in her teachings. While other classes are preparing for their dance recital, my daughter is bored and always waiting for her teacher to gain control of the very unruly class.

I will have to agree with the other mom that made a review on here about Ms.Julie. This studio is not for littles in my opinion. My daughter is 3 and went to her one and only class here. We met the teacher Ms.Julie and I was letting her know that my daughter hadn't ever done anything like this by herself before without me, my husband, or her sister with her so she might be a little nervous or shy. Ms.Julie proceed to tell "well we will just have to cross that bridge when we get there because all the kids in my class are very independent." Not once did I say my daughter wasn't independent I said she may shy or nervous. My daughter enjoyed the class but I will be finding another dance studio for her because to me this was very uncalled for behavior from a instructor for a new student in their class.

Absolutely do not recommend Angie's for littles. During the 3
classes we attended I witnessed Ms Julie make condescending remarks to parents and children about the use of various security items (binkies, lovies) and crying when parents left just for a few examples. She also frequently used terms like "big girls don't need binkies", "big girls don't cry" and generally had a condescending and irritated attitude for anything that wasn't what she apparently considered "appropriate behavior". My daughter was having a hard time adjusting to her first class without me with her. Her comments to her about "stop crying" "you can't be loud" and the dirty looks surely did not help her comfort level. Today at the last class we will ever be attending at Angie's Ms Julie was so abrasive that both my daughter and I left the class early in tears after she told me that my daughter was "done" for the day and we were told to leave the class. I have been to many classes for my daughters of various activities and have NEVER experienced this type of abrasive behavior from any coach or teacher. I understand there is varying levels of "seriousness" in studios but this was definitely not the experience I was hoping for my daughters first dance class for her or I.
Hopefully Ms Julie can do some reflection of her behavior and the expectations of two year olds. Perhaps she needs to move to older kids where she can find more satisfaction in her job.

I tried to rent studio space from her. She said that was a possibility, that she rents her room for $20 per hour, but then just had really horrible communication. She would respond... 3 weeks later. To which, at that point I would become excited that this was still an option, only to then respond, to my response 3 weeks later... and finally after the 3rd time, I gave up. I even had my partner stop into her studio to try to speak to her in person, but her front desk associate was extremely rude, and acted as if they've never done such a thing. I found another rental location. I am sure this is a great studio. Maybe just don't offer to rent out your rooms, since the communication, or lack thereof is the way it is. Nice lady, otherwise. Responding 3 weeks after a rental request is really poor for business. Having a rude front desk associate is also poor for business.
