Applebee's is ALWAYS GOOD. It is one of our "GO-TO" places for supper. It is a casual environment, with great food, friendly employees, and great service at reasonable prices. On top of all of that, there is "Veteran" parking. This veteran thanks you for the food, service, and parking.
This was our first time eating here and it was nice enough. We enjoyed it. Our server was brand new and did a great job helping us with our meal! The food is mass-produced and okay, but nothing delicious or praiseworthy. It was good for what it is. They prepared their product well and presented it nicely. Our table was really sticky. Even after our server wiped it down again with a wet cloth, it was still super sticky. I laid napkins down to rest my arms against the edge of the table so I wouldn't stick to it. I think it needs a good degreasing cleaner. We would go back for special menu pricing maybe, but not for a meal that would really wow us or be memorable.
Going inside to get a to go order is a little difficult. I had to catch someone to inquire about my order and someone else who was standing there waiting as well. However, my food was hot and fresh, large portions even with the 2 for $25 deal (we ordered 2 cheese burgers with fries and a side of mozzarella sticks for $25. This was a larger dinner than we could finish, so we felt that the food portion was a great deal. Food tasted good even the fries were fresh and very tasty, especially with the little bit of pepper on them.
Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, we had 11 people in our group, and she took care of each without missing a lick especially me (the old guy). This young lady should really really be the restaurant MANAGER!!! Thank You so much!
Best food and customer service all around. Jamie was fantastic as our waitress. I would come here again and ask for Jamie she was funny and was very quick to answer any questions we had.
