Bark Avenue always does a wonderful job on my Jack Russell Terrier, Buster. He smells amazing & coat is so soft! Prices are reasonable. They also post a picture of your pup with a themed background on Facebook. It's really cute!

We've been coming to Bark Avenue for years and have always loved their services however I will never go back after this incident. We brought our Yorkie Poo (10lbs) in. The groomer came out and before she even thoroughly looked at our dog she asked how often we bathe her. We said weekly and she said that dhes matted so theyd have to go short. I also brush her several times a week. They SHAVED my dog. I wasn't going to say anything but she's freezing in June. We dropped her off at 10am and when I called at 330 to check they had just finished her. I had messaged them trying to figure out what happened and the owner or whoever responded was horribly rude and condescending. She made me feel like I neglect my dog when I can assure you this is not the case. If she would have spoke to me like a human being this would have been different but she was so rude and it was very uncalled for. I was just trying to figure out why this happened because they never had to shave her before. They said they would have to go short and i said that was fine. Cutting short and shaving are different and my dog is shaved. Our friend who is a former groomer also confirmed she's been shaved not cut short. I can also tell you that our dog was NOT matted. She said in her message that there was matting on her stomach and she doesn't have fur on her stomach. If they would have been kinder when i contacted them I probably would have just let it go but that wasn't the case. You're running a business and you have to be open to customers having issues with your services. It sometimes happens but you have to not talk to customers like their idiots because now you've lost a loyal customer who has been with you guys since you opened.

They short shaved my doodle including his ears, face and tail without so much as a phone call. Appt was at 9 am and at 240pm they hadn’t started on him but close at 4pm. They were finished at 330pm. They claimed they shaved him bc he was matted. I spent 40 min before we went in combing out his tail and left SPECIFIC instructions that his tail CANNOT be shaved as it turns into a whip and hurts my children. Shame on you for shaving my dog because you didn’t allow adequate time to groom a 90lb golden doodle. We have been to many groomers and NO ONE has shaved his face or ears EVER. They also would never expect to do a full cut and groom on a 90lb dog in a hour. Do not take your dog here as they clearly are in a hurry and don’t follow directions or bother to notify if they have to deviate from the request.

At the previous groomers I went to before I found bark ave, my dog would always be so afraid and reluctant to go with the attendant when I would leave her, even after several visits. Now that we have found bark ave, truffle trots right in like it’s her second home. Thank you for providing a safe space for my timid girl. They also do an amazing job every time we visit

My pups are always excited to have a spa day at Bark Avenue. They always come back looking amazing and seem happy and refreshed after their grooming. The staff is great and wants to make sure that we always get the haircuts we're looking for. If you're looking for a place to take your pet, I'd definitely recommend Bark Avenue!
