Bark Avenue always does a wonderful job on my Jack Russell Terrier, Buster. He smells amazing & coat is so soft! Prices are reasonable. They also post a picture of your pup with a themed background on Facebook. It's really cute!

They short shaved my doodle including his ears, face and tail without so much as a phone call. Appt was at 9 am and at 240pm they hadn’t started on him but close at 4pm. They were finished at 330pm. They claimed they shaved him bc he was matted. I spent 40 min before we went in combing out his tail and left SPECIFIC instructions that his tail CANNOT be shaved as it turns into a whip and hurts my children. Shame on you for shaving my dog because you didn’t allow adequate time to groom a 90lb golden doodle. We have been to many groomers and NO ONE has shaved his face or ears EVER. They also would never expect to do a full cut and groom on a 90lb dog in a hour. Do not take your dog here as they clearly are in a hurry and don’t follow directions or bother to notify if they have to deviate from the request.

At the previous groomers I went to before I found bark ave, my dog would always be so afraid and reluctant to go with the attendant when I would leave her, even after several visits. Now that we have found bark ave, truffle trots right in like it’s her second home. Thank you for providing a safe space for my timid girl. They also do an amazing job every time we visit

My pups are always excited to have a spa day at Bark Avenue. They always come back looking amazing and seem happy and refreshed after their grooming. The staff is great and wants to make sure that we always get the haircuts we're looking for. If you're looking for a place to take your pet, I'd definitely recommend Bark Avenue!

I gave two stars because they've done a great job on my dog, but after an incident today, I won't come back. I'm sorry that I personally did not receive the memo 6 months ago that my dog needs a sedative to have services done and that you only spoke to my husband about it (which he has no memory of being mentioned when he picked her up from her last appointment). I have no issue with making arrangements for her to have a sedative, but if that is a requirement for some pets, it is your responsibility to verify at drop off if the pet has been medicated appropriately for the safety of the pet and staff. I didn't appreciate the tone the owner had with me when I was called about an hour and a half after I dropped my dog off for services without a sedative. Being condescending about how far apart my dog's grooming appointments are and borderline lecturing me about how my dog is misbehaving because she is anxious is unnecessary. Again, I have no issue with making sure she has a sedative, but the belittling is uncalled for. I've seen the way you respond to negative reviews on here, so please don't waste your time responding to this one with your excuses and timestamps and quotes, etc. I'm not looking for your sympathy, I just hope you'll learn some patience and compassion and maybe adjust your check-in process for pets with certain requirements. Good luck.
