I board my dogs a couple of times a year when I go out of town. I have been doing so for the last ten+ years that I have been living here in St Charles County, so I have tried most of the places around here. The last few years I have boarded them at Bark Central. As with any boarding kennel, I have no idea what goes on in the back, but I have never had a problem at Bark Central. My dogs have never come back sick or injured, or excessively dirty (I have had all of these happen at other local boarding kennels). But I give them five stars mainly because they have never "lost" my reservation. Believe it or not, two other local kennels have in the past, leaving me to scramble at the last minute to find a place for my dogs as I try to leave town. Bark Central actually confirms the reservations by email, and they seem to have an organized and professional reservation system. The people that work there are friendly and professional. The prices are reasonable.

Couldn't be more pleased after our pup's first overnight stay. We highly recommend Bark Central for a safe and comfortable place where your pet will be well cared for while you're away or if they just need a daycare visit.

They take great care of our dogs when we are out of town. One dog hates to have her nails clipped, to the point where we were going to have the vet put her under anesthesia and cauterize her nails, but the groomer there is a true miracle worker!! Both dogs let her give them baths and trim their nails! We can't say enough good things about Bark Central.

We boarded our dog over Thanksgiving as we were traveling out of state. In early October our dog had an ACL tear and while being boarded he was not doing well. Mark and the Bark Central team went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and comfortable until we could get back to get him. We can’t thank them enough for their care and what they did for us.

We have 3 german shepherds that stayed the weekend, The kennels are large and cleanly. The staff were very friendly and you could tell they know what they're doing! We are certainly going to go back anytime we need a future dog boarding. 😁
