Beautiful wedding/reception venue! Every part of Bear Creek is just simply beautiful! We felt the vaulted ceilings with natural wood beams, fireplace, stone wall, and natural light through the windows made this venue absolutely beautiful on its own! We added a few decorations, which made our wedding absolutely stunning! Faye made our big day run so smoothly, and we had the best day! 🤍🌿

DON'T PLAY HERE: It's rare that I share a poor review, as I'm not that kind of person, but the pace of play at Bear Creek is miserable and the Course Marshall is likely the problem. I golf often, with my son, almost twice a week, around the STL metro area, and have never encountered slower golf conditions. We were stacked behind a foursome, a twosome and a twosome, and to make matters worse, the Marshall comes up to our foursome and asks us to "pick up the pace" literally while we are stuck looking at folks standing on the green and spent 30 minutes waiting on #3 teebox. The problem was not our foursome, but somewhere far ahead of us, and likely how they set up their groupings or teetimes. Stopped to use restroom and sign says "key is on keychain on golfcart"... It's not... Poor hole signage. Bad experience overall and I should have listened to the other reviews.

Lunch today was great. Daughter had a Cobb salad with tomato vinaigrette. I opted for a traditional burger and onion strings. Our waitress, Kari, was excellent. The place filled up right after we walked in. Kari handled it all and was really cheerful. Impressive.

Horrible pace of play. We played 13 holes in 4 hours and left without finishing. Tee time was supposed to be at 10:30 on Good Friday.
