LOOK ELSEWHERE!! We used Bono Plumbing to install a water softener in our home years ago, and so far we had been satisfied with the job, so when it leaked and flooded our closet we called them to come have a look. The owner came out, with no mention of a service charge when making the appointment, and immediately upon looking at the unit stated “we didn’t install this unit”. I then informed him that his company did in fact install it, that I know exactly which technician did and I had the paperwork to go with it. He then reluctantly and very briefly looked at the unit and claimed it wasn’t leaking, but that it was build up from condensation (we have had the unit 6+ years at this point, but somehow this is the first time condensation was a problem?), and told me all the steps I would need to take to fix the problem myself. He then charged me for the call (again, he didn’t take out a single tool to check any of the fittings or anything, barely even looked at the unit, which he clearly wasn’t familiar with as he initially denied having serviced it). I went ahead and cleared the area around the unit and insulated it as he recommended, and the weather had since warmed up. Within a month, the closet had flooded again, the electrical outlet where the unit was plugged in was sparking, and water was seeping through the floor under the trim causing damage to the walls and subfloor. When I called about it, the owner answered, and sounded hesitant to want to come look, heard my husband in the background and made assumptions about a conversation he was overhearing and took it personally, and without a chance for explanation he hung up on me. We left several messages on several lines and sent videos of the issue and damage. He then very quickly blocked all of our numbers. Once I realized he had, we called from another number and got him back on the phone. He kept insisting he wouldn’t work with me or talk to me because my husband had upset him, even after I calmly reiterated that I was the one on the phone, I would be the one home, I was the one requesting service, I would be the only one he was dealing with and I was the initial customer at the time of install. When I asked if he would rather have negative reviews/complaints than to have the chance to rectify the situation, or even take a look at it, he said “I’m not worried about reviews, my wife knows how to take care of those”. He kept repeating that the install had a one year warranty and was no longer covered under that, even though I acknowledged that and asked if his service call that I had paid for the previous month was covered under any type of warranty, to which he kept avoiding that question. Even after having blocked all our numbers and talking down to me and telling me I needed to “teach my husband”, I remained calm with him and asked if he was sure he wanted to refuse the opportunity to make it right, he hung up on me again. He very clearly was never concerned about the flooding or finding the initial cause, he didn’t even want to claim the work when he first saw it, and we were just an inconvenience. Again, this was all the owner of the company, super unprofessional to say the least. Their website claims they “consistently provide top quality plumbing and stellar customer service”…this has NOT been the case in any of our dealings with them. Hopefully this saves anyone else from the hassle of dealing with this company! I can’t attach videos of the flooding but I did include the photos of damage to the electrical outlet and floors. ETA The owners wife has since replied, as he said she would (“my wife knows how to take of bad reviews”…I see where others stated they have taken money off their invoice for good reviews) and is mentioning my children, who have no relevance to this, and because she wasn’t involved in any of this, has mixed up several of the details and timeline, and states information that is conflicting with the recorded call I had with the owner. Nothing in her reply makes any of our issues less relevant. Bottom line: do your research and choose wisely.

Chris arrived earlier than scheduled. He is fun to talk with, very professional and didn't mind our large, loud dog. He did a great job with the replacement of our garbage disposal and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend Bono Plumbing.

Thinking that a carriage would fix my Low water pressure in my shower , Which Didn't ! Don't get wrong I thought it was the cause but after the plumber installed it, there was little to no difference. Not thinking about asking for the labor and parts prices before the repair was done, which was my fault, never thought it would be a shocker after getting the bill. Apparently now it's the whole valve unit and that estimated is near 1000 dollars. I'm no plumber , but if you had a idea that the carriage wouldn't fix the issue, wouldn't YOU work with the customer ! The plumber did a good job, Sad it didn't fix the problem, My fault, Ask first on what the estimate, or cost might be, or you may be in for a terrible surprise.

I had a leaky valve on one of my toilet lines. It was a little beyond what I normally feel comfortable doing myself, so I called Bono Plumbing. Bob and Tony showed up the next day, came in, fixed/replaced the valve and connecting line, and were done in less than 15–20 minutes. Great people, reasonably priced, quick service. I’ll definitely be reaching out to them in the future if the need arises. Thanks guys!

Bono plumbing came out and found the leaky situation at our main stack quickly. They quoted us a fair quote and fixed it quickly. It wasn't as difficult as they had expected so they credited us the difference because of that. Very honest, very professional and easy to deal with. Definitely would do business with as our primary plumbing company.
