Our waitress Kali was so friendly and was working very hard running around the restaurant. The apple and cheddar mashed potatoes were delicious! We will be recommending this restaurant to our family and friends.
Waitress barely said anything to us. We went to order two apps and once we order the one she walked away before we could order two. Then it’s like she disappeared when went to order! Got our food, i ordered Sicilian Bolognese, the only thing Italian was its name! The sauce tasted like ragu, and the meatballs had no flavor and were more like moosh! She never asked if we liked it or why I didn’t eat any, just if we needed boxes & a check! I usually tip 40-50% she got 18% on the nose and I will NOT be back! $67 for store bought spaghetti and a bland burger! Should’ve stayed home
Service was great. Other dishes were good. Unfortunately steak was over cooked but the butter was excellent. Bit on the pricey side for what you get.
Met a group on Saturday for a birthday gathering. Upon walking in, the entire restaurant looked dead with about 4 visible employees. The entire restaurant cleanliness was below exceptional, and the windows looking outside were gross. The waitress was a sweet kid but not very attentive. We showed up about an hour later than our group, so their meals were already served. That wasn’t a problem at all since it was our fault. My wife and I sat at a different table than the group due to the table size. The waitress did take our order quickly, and food came out a little slowly considering we only bought a pizza and the place was dead. After the initial order, the waitress didn’t really check on us much, never refilling drinks. The food tasted great, so no complaints there. This is the reason they received a 2 star vs 1 star rating. BEFORE DEPARTING & PAYING: Before I ordered, I asked for the waitress to put my friend’s order on my check since it was her birthday. When I received my check, I couldn’t believe how much the business nickel-and-dimed their customers. We were charged a “convenience fee”, an “included 20% gratuity” (when I was even with the group due to late showing and separate table seating), then the food cost was pretty high considering the offerings on the menu. So after tip, convenience fee, food for 4 people that only had a pizza, nachos, a salad, 1 Red Bull, and a soda, the bill was $136. That’s crazy. Sadly, after I saw the 20% gratuity added, I quickly understood why the waitress never checked on any of us. She took advantage of knowing she was getting paid for doing literally nothing. She also had a friend at the bar that she spent 90% of her time with. That person was just hanging out and didn’t buy anything. I don’t see us returning anytime soon.
I really enjoyed my first experience here. I got a recommendation for a drink from my waitress and she chose well. A nice tropical drink... So if course I decided to get the Hawaiian burger to pair with it! The presentation was eye catching. The burger was very good and bursting with flavor. Props for the micro greens on top. I decided to get the truffle fries instead of the house chips. They were good fries. Not too special, but done right. The atmosphere was good and felt alive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I look forward to returning in the future.
