Visited Bristol's in O'Fallon on a recent trip to the St. Louis, MO area. Nice restaurant, good service, food generally above par, prices way above market for comparable restaurant fare. The cocktails were good, and we shared a nice rose wine from France. The lobster bisque was delicious, nice chunks of lobster included. The strawberry-pistachio salad was good, but overly covered with dressing. The crab cakes were good, mostly crab, little filler. The Alaskan Halibut was over-cooked and dry, only saved by the sauces on the table. A very disappointing dish, especially for the price. Bristol's has a long history in the St. Louis seafood restaurant scene, but for the money, there are many other places with better food at better prices.

I went to Bristol’s for Easter lunch with the family. It was a blast. Their Eater menu was outrageously appetizing. I ordered the Maine Lobster Bisque as an appetizer, and the Maple Plank Salmon and Shrimp for my entree. Everything was so delicious. This is some of the best food and seafood I have ever had. Bristol’s is the best!!

Today I tried the marvelous Lavender cocktail 🍸. It was served with real lavender, very aromatic, unique!

I hosted a 70th birthday party tonight at this location for my Moms 70th birthday. The food and service was outstanding. Shout out to our waitress Kaylene! We had a marvelous time in our private party room. Only complaint I have were the hostess at the front. They were not very friendly at all. Less than hospitable and very nonchalant. I really didn’t appreciate their attitude. Especially since I was spending the type of money I spent tonight. When I entered the party room, there was not a table for my gifts and cupcakes. The event planner agreed this would be provided. The hostess told me they couldn’t provide a table. Excuse me?! Then find one because that’s what was agreed upon. When I went back to the front to mention to her that the event planner said a table would be provided for gifts and cupcakes, she gave me a little eye roll. 🙁 The energy was WAY OFF! Everything was figured out once a manager was contacted and it turned out fine. A small table was then provided for gifts and cupcakes. Hostess, a simple request such as an extra table should not had been a problem. And what you don’t want to do is tell a customer what you won’t accommodate, especially with a tab of over $700.00. Thanks Bristol’s for a memorable 70th birthday for my Mom. But please have a talk with your hostess on providing better customer service. 😊 Thank you

Excellent! Food, atmosphere and service are all top of the line. Not as expensive as you would expect. Fresh scallops were perfect and delicious! Also memorable was the calamari. Best I have ever had. Highly recommend!
