Was looking for a new dentist and stumbled across this one because it’s close to home. The dental hygienist is amazing and the dentist was really good at explaining what he was doing and why. Definitely recommend.
This was my first time using this dentist. When I arrived, I was told that they were having lunch and a meeting and I would have to wait in my car. No one even introduced themselves with this initial encounter. This did not set well with me. The hygienist was thorough and took her time cleaning my teeth. I felt she was unprofessional due to calling me “sweetie “ when she was explaining what she was going to do. The dentist didn’t spend a lot of time looking at my teeth. Consequently I will not be going back to this dental office.
Accommodated my urgent request. Very caring staff and dentist.
Will NOT recommend. I made an appointment. I asked if they were in my insurance network delta ppo. Reception answered yes. Filled out digital patient info. online. Arrived on time. Waiting room was empty @ 1:00. Asked again about being covered. Receptionist said I will make sure. I offered a coupon I received in the mail for 25$ for first visit. Explained my insurance would cover it regardless. She checked again. She says $50 deductible and 20% of any work done. I asked her to look again. Same answer. Called my ins. Was informed the dr. was not in network. Was told if they were in network the charge would NOT exceed 10%. They told me they were in my network...So 10% in network yet they wanted to charge me 20% . I started thinking Brookside Dental was attempting to charge me more than what I should have been.The Assistant, to whom she did not say. Tells me to go to the first door. She goes over patient info. Asks if I have a dr. No. I don't go to drs. very often. In a highly irritated voice she presses me " Don you go to a dr. when you're sick?. I didn't understand her hostility. Yes...when I am sick I see a dr. are you on medication.? Yes I started it..she interrupted me, and in a now hostile voice said " you NEED to read the information completely and change your answers! I thought if she is the hygienist I do not want her cleaning my teeth with that attitude . I knocked on the desk and said take me out of your system and left.Will NOT RETURN.
Horrible customer service. Moved my appointment four times, then I arrive for my appointment and was told I don’t have an appointment. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. My appointment from April was cancelled because of the shut down, I understand that. I rescheduled for Aug 10, then I received a text that this appointment was no longer available. They moved me to Aug 18th, I could not make that appointment, they asked me if Sept 7 would work, I indicated that was labor day, then I was moved to Sept 28. How many appointments do I need to confirm???
