I always enjoy my yearly eye exams. From the reminders of my appointment to in person greetings when I go in is great. In the midst of covid challenges I feel comfortable being there because the place and equipment is clean and sanitized well. My eye doctor is very caring and through in answering any questions I may have, thank you, God Bless
I had an appointment for 10AM and the place was supposed to be open at 9AM. I got a ride there, arriving at 945AM, and the person that drove me left. The store, despite calling me MULTIPLE TIMES to remind me of my appointment- including once that very morning- was not open at 945. I waited, I knocked, and I called. No response. After waiting for 25 minutes in the freezing cold, no one arrived and I left. Clarkson Eyecare wasted my time and made me freeze out in the cold despite bothering me constantly to remind me of my appointment.
This was my second year coming to this location and Dr. Dalton is such a gem. I could have stayed and talked to her all day! She’s very personable and is not an “in and out” type of doctor. The front office ladies were also very nice and helped me find a great pair of frames. They went over my insurance and what was covered and it was all explained very well. Great job!
This was my first time to Clarkson Eyecare. But it will not be my last! Excellent service. Very knowledgeable staff with a wonderful attitude toward giving good service to each and every customer. Knowledgeable of their procedures and policies. Very impressed and hapoy.
I thought that the doctor was great, however I did not appreciate the salesperson, she didn't explain anything to me really until I started asking questions what is this what it that, she was very what I would call snobbish. She wouldn't show me where the glasses were that were 100 and below until I said something about it, she just sat in her chair. I guess I just didn't really appreciate her demeanor and I felt like she was trying to force things on to me ,another words she was adding stuff in without even talking to me about it. And after all was said and done, in addition to what my insurance was going to cover she wanted to charge me another $500 for two pairs of glasses. I'm sorry but I'm just not going to go there. So I walked out with my daughter. I also want to say that I think one of the best things that they could do is with the glasses that are $100 and under get more appealing glasses because in all honesty black frames square black frames or cat eye frames that are black do not appeal ,they didn't have anything else to offer in there, plus they mix the guys glasses with the women's glasses and why in the world would you want to do something like that? They need to change their display and they need to get something more appealing. The glasses they had would have appealed to a guy but not to a woman. So we were done. I think we will be heading to America's Best or some other eyeglass company that actually does have more appealing glasses for women.
