A magnificent build gym! Love the concept and all the features available at this location. The membership fees is pretty reasonable in today’s age. The only problem is the staff wasn’t very friendly or welcoming at this location. I felt a hype/happy vibe was missing with the staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend taking the day or 2 day free guest pass and checking out all the equipments available here! I’m adding all the pictures that I could capture at the location in between my works outs.
Great facility. Unfortunately they pump in the worst, "N" word laced music with the "F" word beeped out every other song. And at full volume. Looking around at this audience in O'Fallon, MO, this noise does not fit. Everyone hates it. I know people who just got fed up and went to PF. Please don't bring your kids. They don't need to hear this. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent gym.
Staff is friendly but unfortunately that is not enough given all the other recent changes. They raised rates as many reviewers mention in reviews. Gym is moving towards Gold Gym model which is a failed gym and they should know that. For existing members, regular gym hours start at 8 am which is a ridiculous regular hour time to begin for a gym. At the very latest this should be 7 AM. Most of the time there are staffers there before then. Bathroom in men's locker room has been leaking through ceiling for a month. So everyone is breathing in mold or black mold. Their fix is a bucket underneath the ceiling. Sauna is constantly out and I have asked for them to send a notification via the app or put a status page on their website when such services are down and was told that sounds excessive. I drive long distance just for sauna and broken half the time and often not working. Men's sauna constantly has on Charmed, Drew Barrymore, and Judge Judy for past 1 year and asked to change channel and front desk guys don't have access. Told them to ask manager and TV still has been on same station since I have asked several times. No way to contact corporate online or speak to someone in charge.
Great equipment and space. Rude staff. BEWARE, If you want to cancel your account you have to send a letter to a random PO box and they will charge you $130 for canceling. I would not chose this gym again for any reason.
So I have been a member with club fitness since 2010. I used to live in Illinois and that was my home gym. Let’s move forward to me going to the K and N in Ofallon. Been going here for about 2 years roughly. I got an email stating from my home gym that I needed to move my info to a new home gym. This was October 2023. In November I asked someone at the front desk if I needed to send my info over to this gym or I would be canceled. An employee said no I did not have to move my account over. So I took that as I didn’t have to switch. This is roughly around December 2023 and January 2024 when the new app came out. You had the choice to keep the price point of $19.99 that is now $33.00. When I went to the front desk to ask why I couldn’t get into the new app. They could not find me anywhere in the system yet I had a barcode that I used to go in and workout. This is when I found out I was canceled. So I was informed that I basically 1 did not get the choice of getting that $19.99 price point but secondly they told me to rejoin at $33.00. I was emailing customer care that should not even be customer care because they do not care nor did they try and help me so I would not have to rejoin due to being misinformed by an employee. I would love to go to this gym but it’s the principle that I should’ve gotten the chance to keep my original price I was already paying not to resign. I was informed via the manager that they could not do anything with getting me at the price point from my old account. The only thing they could do would be wave my new sign on fees and have me not pay for a couple months. Way to keep the paying customers that have been there for almost 15 years. #notcoolclubfitness
