I went to Dr Oehler for many years before I realized I was not getting proper dental care. I had a crown placed in 2021 and there was a gap between the crown and my gums that didn’t feel right. Whenever I brought it to Dr Kurt’s attention at a check up, he said it wasn’t an issue and dismissed my concerns, among several other concerns. I recently switched to another dentist because I felt I was not getting the answers I wanted. They had advanced technology and got more extensive x-rays of my teeth, which showed I needed to get my crown replaced since there should not be a gap between the crown and the gum as it can lead to problems down the road.

I have never been a patient here and don’t plan to. I have heard nothing but bad things from other patients. A friend of mine went in for some dental work that Dr. Oehlers office claims they would take care of for them, and this office in particular messed up numerous times. Dr. Oehlers office tried to put the blame on this patient instead of explaining there might have been the possibility of them messing up with their dental work. On top of poor dental work, this office seems to never know what is going on with insurance claims and coverage. If I could give lower than a 1 star, I would. I am confused on how Dr. Oehlers’ office is still in business with some of the reviews and experiences I have heard.

One of the staff member called me for the price of a crown, extraction plus 2 partials after she called my insurance. She gave me a price of $719.30. I went there today to pay for the full amount of $719.30 and a different person handled it and gave me a different price. I was told that it was impossible for all three to be $700+ coz my crown is $400+. I asked the lady that called me for the document when she called the insurance and she said she doesn’t have it. This is the second time already that happened to me that they dis not email me the quote from the insurance and when you ask them when u get there they will simply say…they do not have any documentation from or no
Paperwork whatsoever.
Drs Oehler are good dentists and Sue is a superb hygienist, but their staff is horrible when it comes to paperworks, and sending emails for documentation.

We had a bad experience where a tooth was prepared for crown then once work was performed was referred to an orthopedic surgeon for an abscess on that same tooth. Ended up that the tooth had to be extracted due to infection. Work should never have been performed as the abscess was visible by the naked eye prior to starting prep work yet Crossroads took our cash up front for the work and also billed the insurance provider. Cash required for payments to receive discount. Will not accept debit card, credit card for work. Suspicion, dishonest billing practice. Currently in billing dispute. Secretarial staff is rude, will yell at you rather than answer direct questions, and when cornered will simply hang up the phone. Very unprofessional.

I have been going here for the past few years and have never had any issues. The staff is really nice and both Dr. Oehlers are pleasant.
