I just opened up account few months ago, wish I would have done it along time ago. The nicest people. One teller recognized me just after 2 visits. I was impressed. This is a great bank to do business with

Maranda was fantastic! Very helpful in setting up our personal loan. Her and the manager (I’m so sorry I forgot it!) were absolutely stellar! They gave crayons and paper for our son to color on while we were being helped. Very pleased with how everything was handled; the communication and the polite and friendliness exhibited the entire time!

We had finished shopping at Walmart & my wife decided she wanted to go to the newer Aldi’s located nearby. Since we didn’t have any quarters, there was a First Community bank located inside. Their sign only says First Community. I went up to a male teller, handed him a dollar bill and asked for four quarters. I was told I had to be a member. Thinking it was a First Community Bank, I went back to my wife & told her what happened. She said it says First Community. I went back inside and asked if it was associated with FCCU & he said they were. I told him I was a member & wanted four quarters again. He said he needed to see my driver’s license & something to show the account number. I opened the mobile app and showed him the account. He fiddled on his computer but said he couldn’t pull up my information. I then realized I had the FCCU bank card with me & gave it to him. He FINALLY was able to pull up my information! I FINALLY was able to get four quarters for the dollar bill I gave him. I had to jump through all these hoops & people don’t understand why people are so angry these days! Common sense isn’t so common anymore is it. It wasn’t like I was asking for two rolls of quarters for poker night. It was only asking for four quarters for a dollar! I don’t need to hear the excuse, “Well if we do it for one non-member, then we’ll have to do it for another non-member.” Other than this one time instance, we really like FCCU since we have opened an account with them a few years back & their great rates.

I recently moved to St. Charles and I was to say the least I was elated to learn that my Credit Union was so close to my new resident and being located in Walmart was without a doubt a win..win for me!
In the past two months I’ve used this location at least 6 times and the customer service/care is exceptional each and every time. Thank you!!

Recently co-signed on an auto loan and when attempting to call in to check up on a couple things in regards to it, they asked for either the account number or my full SSN. Not having the account/loan number on me at the time, I stated I was uncomfortable giving my full SSN over the phone and inquired as to if there was another way to verify me. They flat out said no.
Disappointing is an understatement.
