The gallery halls were a bit strange, it didn't have any spirit, there was way too much empty space that could feature so much more art from the artists upstairs it felt lifeless. I did like the part where you could visit the artists and see their studios, however nearly all the doors were closed. There are so many talented artists here they should really feature and sell more art in the gift shop. Unfortunately the gift shop really just had generic printed merchandise. There is so much potential for this place to be beautiful.
if you’re looking for a wedding venue, we highly recommend foundry art Centre. Paige is AMAZING and the venue is beautiful. they made our dream day possible!! we also loved the getting ready room on site!
An absolute gem! I LOVE that there is a place where art can be seen, experienced and admired. Go during the week and you can visit with 14 full-time working artists upstairs. The first Friday of every month is fun too and should not be missed. Live music, drinks, art making, exhibitions, and visiting with the studio artists.
I love the Foundry Art Centre! They display and rotate work by artists from around the world. On the second floor there are working artists who work in a variety of media. Several of them teach classes and welcome visitors in. In the summer they have amazing art camps for kids. They also sponsor events such as meetings, trivia nights, concerts, Halloween Ghost House, etc
Had a blast everytime i have gone here. Great location right on the riverfront. The people are nice and respectful. They are not judgemental. The artist are really good. You can rent a studio to let the creativity flow
