i went here a long time ago but i didn't get the ne of the shop until now. i have wanted to leave a review for a long long time because the man behind the counter was saying very disgusting things about my body as a woman. and weirdly said i was "almost as good looking as his granddaughter" gross.

The inventory wasn’t that exciting and the man behind the counter could probably be best described as crass. You know how old men complain about their wives? Expect comments which are a tad demeaning towards women. Leave your girlfriend or wife outside because they are going to be uncomfortable around him. Finally a nice “you wouldn’t go to a restaurant and look?” after we didn’t find anything worth purchasing.
Its probably all in good fun in his mind but as a complete stranger its akin to being heckled by a homeless person. Odd and unwelcoming

This place is a must see on Historic Main Street in St Charles. It’s run by the sweetest little German man and we must work collectively to keep his store open after over 36 years because Pete is worth it.

The guy who works here is so nice! There’s some pretty neat things in here!
