Visited for a second viewing of the exhibit of the American Revolutionary War in the West. The other exhibits such as the War of 1812 are good too. Will probably return to see them again.
Enjoying the local history books too.
Remember the donation box at the front desk.
There is an adjacent trailhead for those wanting to exercise both the body and the mind.

The guide who was working that day, John, was great to have along. He was very informative and helpful. If we saw something and had a question, he was right there with the answer.
The collections are great and show a lot of history in St. Charles County. There is the room on the ground floor with the amateur baseball league teams, women's baseball, horseshoes, bowling, etc. represented. Upstairs, the high school sports are represented. Unfortunately, we couldn't go see that because there is no handicap access to the second floor.
The wildlife 'room' was more of a room around a room, but the walls and ceiling were covered with representations and information about the animals, fishing facts, and history. The room inside the room is the simulation room.
The simulation room was incredible and a must see for any young hunters that will be heading out into the woods for hunting season. It was a blast! We were told it is the largest simulator of its kind in the world and numbers with only a handful of simulators like it around the world.
Good job St. Charles County Parks and Recreation! Well done center for learning and recreation!

We were greeted by very friendly staff who answered all our questions. The Revolutionary War in the West exhibit was amazing and very informative. We also enjoyed the holiday model railroad and War of 1812 exhibits. A true hidden gem in St Charles county.
