Worth the trip for sure! Clean park with lots of trails. Beautiful overlooks. I do wish a park map was placed with all the information stands. I also wish there were more trail markers: there are a lot of trails that intertwine and it can become confusing which trail you end up on.

Beautiful place. Might need a little better signage. We were on our e-bikes. Some how ended up on the horse trail. The horse trail is NOT ment for bikes. Over all very beautiful place, well maintained.

I agree with the previous post to have better trail markers. Beautiful and relaxing but it was not the day we went when several groups of people were ignoring the clearly marked signs and swimming with all their kids and drinking. It's also a shame the trash that was left behind from wrappers. This was on the weekend of June 30th. Hopefully during week it won't be like this.

Awesome park with trails and tons of campsites. Dog friendly. Many varieties including primitive, RV, walk ins, sites with posts for hammocks, and more. There are various camping amenities like a camp kitchen, bathrooms, showers, compost toilets, playgrounds, and others. The park has a pretty waterfront area and you can fish. There are scenic bluff overlooks. There's a meeting facility you can rent. Something for everyone. And it's close to several charming small towns and wineries.

What a gorgeous surprise! With the crystal blue water and white sand, I felt like I was in another state. Took the nice path around the lake, pretty flat and easy to navigate, and then the path to the overlook, it's steep, but paved and a pretty short walk. Lots of well maintained bathrooms, camping sites, picnic areas and primitive rental cabins. Great place to visit, and plenty of wineries/breweries around, so a good day trip.
