For several several years I did my own lawn service. I was not happy with it. I signed up for a lawn service that indicated I would be the envy of your other lawns. They were a good service for two years, but when I compared the edge of my lawn with the edge of the neighbors lawn I noticed a big difference. Their lawn was dark green, mine was kind of a sickly yellow. I inquired as to who was servicing their lawn. they said The green thumb company. I contacted them and they indicated they used a different kind of lawn fertilizer, not just a bag of commercial fertilizer. I canceled my lawn service and immediately began using green thumb. After just a short while I noticed a significant difference in the greeness, thickness and general quality of my lawn. And now, for the past two years it has improved even more, to what I have finally been looking for. Based on this significant improvement I believe green thumb lawn service is an excellent lawn service to use.

I had an issue with a change in price to my service which I had prepaid for and they waved the additional fee. They are always available if I need an extra weed treatment.

I don't normally write bad reviews. This is not a company I would recommend. After using them just one season was enough for us. Our lawn looked horrible and I know this was an unusual hot summer but we were watering and mowing like we should. I called the office to voice my concern and got a call back from Dan( I do believe that was his name) I had asked if he was the owner because that's who I wanted to speak with , he basically gave me his resume and told me that the owner has entrusted him to make all business decisions. I expressed our unhappiness with the lawn looked and there was something wrong, he was like what's wrong, I stated there was weeds and brown patches, he then asked me what type of weeds, this is when it got ugly. I stated I had no clue what type of weed (This is why we hired then to take care of the lawn)I asked if he could come out and look at the lawn(of course he was too busy for that) and stated the tech could next time he was out. No offense but your tech was the issue. After hiring a new lawn service I had to have it treated for grubs. After a month with this new company my lawn is starting to look much better. They like to say did you read your email, truth is I really only read them for payment but to be honest it's not like they had a lot of info. This new company when they came out to treat and rang the doorbell and ask us to step outside and let us know what was wrong with the lawn, it called customer service which you will not get here.

Lawn Doctor is a total ripp off! Our yard has never looked this bad, it's full of weeds, they have also attempted to double charge for one application on one visit. I honestly think they did not apply weed control chemical as they have charged for or they use a very low quality products. Beware of this company!

Unlike my experience with Green lawn the Lawn doctor has been a time saver for me. I work in the tech industry and long hours so having the time to seed and weed is a luxury for me. Lawn Doctor always comes buy does the whole yard leaving both a yard sign and a door hang to let me know they came by to treat the yard. Green lawn agents would lie about coming by as if I don't have cameras around my property and attempt to charge me for services never done.
