Great gem of history ran by the National Park Service that we stumbled upon. Very educational, kid friendly and dog friendly!!!
Well worth going and learning more about Lewis & Clark and the expedition.

An okay place to visit - I think it’s more targeted for kids. But they showed a video that was informative about Lewis and Clark’s trip.
Next time I would look to visit during a guided tour or during a lecture.
The rest was pretty dated displays of frontier and Indian life.

We spent about an hour and a half at this museum. It had a very fascinating collection of information, maps, artifacts, dioramas, and a short film.

Great little museum, lots of things to look at, a nice little gift shop. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. It is a small display, but well put together, the large boats were especially interesting to me, unfortunately they were behind gates at the time of our visit. Highly recommend.

I recently had the privilege to attend a conference at this beautful place. This is definitely a hidden gem. The views are spectacular and the museum is incredible right next to the Missouri river. This was my first time visiting St. Charles. Its been one of the most beautiful places I've been to. Bob and his team were extremely friendly. I highly recommend visiting.
