GREEDY AND DECEPTIVE!!! I called more than once and asked about the grace period. Five days. I moved out exactly Five days after the end of my contract. They falsified the collection dispute amount and the date. No I wasn't going to pay another month!!! Lowered my credit 100 pts. Cost me 2% more to borrow money on a car loan. My attorney said I met the terms of the contract. Supposed to be climate controlled. It gets very hot and cold in there.They said temperature and humidity aren't part of the climate!!! Keep looking!!!

Top notch, first class storage facility. Chris is an excellent site manager who makes a connection with his customers and ensures a seamless, smooth experience. Chris was thorough in explaining all the guidelines regarding caring for the locker and contents we won at the storage auction. The site is clean, well maintained, well lit, and easy to navigate. Best in class facility with an outstanding leader.

This was my best customer service experience to date. My wife and I needed a storage unit in short notice and after seeing the online inventory was low we decided to stop by.
Chris was very helpful in getting us a unit and the supplies we needed to keep our items safe and clean. We didn't have any questions to ask as Chris was able to explain the rental and insurance policies quickly and with detail. We also received a tour of the unit and the nearby entrances with a demonstration of how to open the doors. This was of great help as this was our first storage unit.

I’m writing this review for Chris Shannon at the St. Charles location. He’s not only a true professional but has a great attitude and I believe he’s definitely an asset to your company!! He’s very friendly and is right there to help you have a great experience at his store! He’s a wonderful employee and I’m always so glad to see him when I go to his location. Got the run-around TWICE just trying to rent a unit online. Wanted Dardanelle Prairie but was ultimately set up in Ballwin! Then I tried again online, being very cautious, and tried to get a unit in St Peters, but was contracted with St Charles location. Christopher was great, yet I was still charged all the administrative fees and for the lock and few days I never used or realized that I had been given a unit in Ballwin. The confirmation emails tell you ABOUT the unit, including the number, in big bold print yet the location is at the very, very bottom of the email and very, very small.
Further, my unit is supposed to come with 24/7 access and after 10 pm the key pad tells me "Access denied. Area closed." This has cost me valuable time, effort, gas, and stress. I believe I deserve either a credit or partial refund since it was not MY fault I couldn't access a 24 hour unit but was denied by their system. Apparently it's open 24 hours, just not in a row!
Only got the 2 stars because of the manager and because you offer numerous access points and carts to facilitate the move. I'm not sure that I could actually recommend Life Storage to anyone.
