The custard selection isn’t bad, the atmosphere and outdoor space is nice. Service is quick and friendly. My only problem is the custard… this custard is absolutely the saltiest I’ve ever tasted. I know that’s weird to say about frozen custard, but it’s absolutely true. I couldn’t finish my cone I was so thirsty and felt like my mouth was burning from all the salty taste.

Good, standard, standby for ice cream treats in St. Charles. Lots of options, which is always great. Expect to wait a while on warm summer nights.

Pros: -The location is super convenient. It is just by the library, some schools and Jaycee Playground.
-The staff is nice and on their feet.
-The ice cream is fresh.
-They sell a super cool t-shirt for $10.
Cons: -The ice cream is good, but not fantastic. Somehow I do not love their recipe. I kind of can feel the taste of the eggs too much. I can see it is made with care, I just do not like the formula.
-The building itself needs some renovations. There is no reason for them to don't buy a gallon of paint that costs $30 and take care of the peeling and rusted paint in some areas to present a more attractive place.
Overall I enjoy coming here.

I always get a large __________concrete as it is fantastic.
Yes, I am aware I didn't reveal the flavor but I have a good reason.
My concern is, let's say, hypothetically, I always order a large Reeces Peanut Butter Cup concrete with regular custard. Hypothetically.
Word gets out and suddenly, there is an unusually high demand for regular custard. I'm on my way home, i pull in the drive thru and order what i always order, and, they say, "sorry, we are out of Reeces Peanut Butter Cups?"

Lyons is a St. Charles favorite! They have delicious treats here. I love the twist waffle cone. They have a nice pavilion and a gazebo to sit under and enjoy your custard.
