    The rest of the staff get 5 stars. I went for an oil change and tire rotation, Anthony, did not fill out the inspection form, and the maintenance light was left on. And to make things even better i have to figure out how to get the plastic cover back on under a car i can't get underneath because the pins were broken and it popped off while i was driving down the highway. I get it things come up but you CANNOT cut corners and scramble while doing anything on someone's vehicle.

    I have been visiting this Midas for several years because of their excellent service. However, I’m certain the management team and mechanics have all changed out over the last year. I had an appointment for 3pm on a Saturday, dropped my car off almost 30min early, and then went about my day. 2 hours later, they call and say they can’t do it today but to please come back Monday. I ended up rushing back to the shop and driving my car next door to a different shop 10 minutes before they closed, where they rushed my in and got it down without me getting out and getting down before they closed.

    I'm a regular customer at this location. There is a new crew here from Dustin the manager to the techs in the garage, and I love the new change! I felt confident after being shown my repair needs. They worked with me to make sure my repairs were affordable for me. I would rather get my repairs for all of my car needs.

    I don’t think I would recommend this location to anyone. Especially if you have a Midas credit card. Sounds wacky right? When arriving to pick up my vehicle for an oil change, I had to wait an additional 45 minutes while they tried to figure out how to charge my card. For a good chunk of time I had no idea what was going on, so I just stood there. They really didn’t communicate to me what the exact issue was or what they were doing to solve it. Something to do with a new system and having to contact corporate to get a form. It took quite awhile to get that form. I just don’t understand how a business isn’t prepared for something like that. Ya know, charging a credit card that was provided by their own company. And if they knew there was some type of issue going on, how were they so ill-prepared for it? The gentlemen were nice, so I feel bad writing this. They continuously told me, “thank you for being patient,” but that really just doesn’t cut it. I had to wait 45 minutes while they fumbled around behind the desk. Just silly.

    I spoke with the store manager, Tim, on Friday, April 26th for 10 minutes. Told him I needed an oil change and my rear 2 tires had to be replaced. I advised what brand (Nexen N-Priz AH5) I wanted. We arranged for me to drop my car off Monday, April 29th at opening time of 7:30 a.m. I arrived at that time, and the 2 associates (Rob & Clay) had no knowledge/record of my appointment, which was baffling. I stood in the shop 10-15 minutes having to go over everything that had already been discussed with Tim. This was the first sign of frustrating things to come. After Midas had my car for 4 hours, I received a call from Clay saying my front driver tire needed replacing. It took 4 hours to determine that? Because they waited so long to check my other tires, that meant an even longer time of me not having my vehicle. They had to call their distributor to have a third tire delivered. Fast forward to nearly 4:30 (9 hours of having my car), Clay called saying it’s ready. I asked, “What’s my damage?”, and he replied “$747.40.” Knowing that amount was higher than it should be, I said “I’ll take a look at the receipt when I get there”. Get to the shop and read the printout. $112 oil change (supposed to be $49.99) and $635 for 4 tires (supposed to be $378 for 3). After I pointed out the overcharges, they finally got everything squared away. Total was $595 (labor & taxes included). *smh* Lastly, I pulled off and drove away. My car has a PSI gauge and can show the reading. I looked to see what the air pressure levels were and saw one of my brand new tires had 58 PSI. WHAT???????? Anyone who knows anything about tires knows a normal range is around 32-35 PSI. I called the shop and explained what I discovered, and one of the mechanics said, “I wasn’t sure how much air was in the tires and just kept adding it.” Are you kidding me? Don’t you have devices that can read pressure levels?! Had to drive back to the shop so they could release air from that tire but also even out the others (PSI was different for every single one). Waited another 10-12 minutes while they sorted that out. In the past, I’d gone to Midas for 9+ years for auto servicing, but after all these disastrous experiences, they’ll never get my business again! Absolutely do not recommend this shop under any circumstances.
