Usually love going to this place. Horrible experience today, employee was unpleasant the whole time making my burrito. Then when I went to pay told me he could not break a $50 bill even though my total was over $25. There was over six customers in the establishment at the time. So I don't understand how I couldn't get less than $24 of change back only form of payment I had. So I left and probably won't be back. It really sucks because I treat my employees to this probably least once a month.
I haven't been to Moe's in over a year and was really looking forward to it. The staff was super friendly and the wait was short but the product quality was not as good as I remembered. The bag of chips that came with my meal was undercooked and inedible. They were all soggy and full with grease. The bowl I got for myself was fine but the stacker that was for ordered for someone else had residue from the grill that needed to be cleaned.
The food is great, but the service is terrible. I've tried to go to this location 4 times in the last week or two, only to have to turn around because the store is being closed too early, or there's a line to the door and it's moving far slower that what could possibly be necessary. It should not take 15 minutes for the line to move to the next customer. I literally waited in the parking lot and watched this happen. People seemed irritated. The staff is slow and slacking off. It almost appears as though this location does not even have a manager. Fix this. Really. You were closed for months and when you reopen, the service is worse than ever. Customers are watching you lose money and regulars for seemingly no good reason. Again, the food is good. It would be nice if I could have given a review purely based on that alone, wouldn't it?
Management here hires genuinely friendly people. Food is always fresh and great quality. this place just keeps getting better.
We have always enjoyed Moe's over the years. The team did well even during the restrictions put in place during the pandemic. Customers need to understand the changes that happen. . . . Longer lines, fewer staff, and fewer discounts. What we can do is visit them more often to keep the sales up. We are all in this together.
