My dear friend had a celebration of life here. I really appreciated that they took measures to keep us COVID safe. Very nice and professional place. They put together a video of pictures and it was lovely. Comfy seating, plenty of tissues and very attentive workers. So glad they took good care of my friend Jo Fallon. Thank you.
I'm happy to see that other people have had a good experience, however mine was terrible! Cody was very unorganized and unprofessional. I had to call him many times to find out if things were being taken care of, and most of the time they weren't. My mom's necklace was supposed to be removed before she was cremated, but it wasn't. I was supposed to be notified when her ashes were transported to the cemetery, but I wasn't. I was really hoping to get some guidance during this process, but all I got was additional stress! It was very difficult to lose my mom unexpectedly, and these people were no help at all.
We could not be more thankful for how professional and compassionate the people at Newcomers are. From Chris getting us through the initial tough times of the service (including dealing w some rowdy toddlers), and then the many insurance hurdles to Lila going above and beyond fixing the cemetery’s lies and games. It’s hard enough burying a loved one, but to have the kinds of issues my mother and I dealt with were obsurd. I couldn’t be more happy with the team that was by our side thru all of this. Amazing people who are there for you and not your money like others!
Took my money then changed everything within 24 hours after signing the contract. Saying they don’t have room. Owner asked to call me so here is my response to that! What are we going to talk about? How after you took my money you had my sister cremated? After being told you had to wait for a death certificate! After I told my mother who just had two strokes that her daughter died? Then told her she would still be able to see her before she is cremated? Only to find out it was all a lie and my sister never even got cleaned up after she arrived from the hospital because it was too much work for your people? Which part of this do you want to talk to me about? Sounds like you need to talk to your employees!
Funeral Director Alex Mock went the extra mile to provide compassionate care to our family. He went out of his way to assure our mother was honored and her memory given dignified service amidst the unique challenges of the Covid lockdown. We could not be more impressed and moved by his tremendous kindness and impeccable professionalism.
