The third stop in our 2024 eclipse trip. A quick search brought us to Novellus. The wife likes her mimosas, so that's a part of the search string when looking for a brunch place. We ordered the Bottomless mimosas and Bourbon for breakfast for drinks. Then Seafood Benedict and the Riverside Omelette with a side of gravy for entrees. Jackie (Jacks), our server, was awesome and timely. The flavors and portions were great. Novellus has been added to the list of restaurants to return in the future.

Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The service was great, waitress was very polite and friendly, we loved that ! Food was also good. Simple, and homemade. Great place for a quick brunch. On the negative we thought the menu was a little pricey. We had the omelet with potatoes and biscuit.

Parking was available in public garage ( free on weekends & after 3:30PM) Environment was calming and welcoming! However, very disappointed with the food ..food was cold, had to send it back several times because it was fixed incorrectly! Waitress was overwhelmed as she had too many tables for one person! None of the drinks stated on the menu was available! Overall, I would give this place a second try because it wasn’t the best and maybe it was just the day.

Super cute, unique setting, great craft cocktails and delicious brunch selections. We had the biscuits and gravy and the hot chicken and waffles. Aside from the potatoes being a bit under cooked, everything was really delicious and perfectly portioned. I would definitely go again if I am in the area. I loved the library setting and the display of books on the tables. Our service was outstanding !

This restaurant is great!! The drinks and food…AMAZING!! My husband and I both had steak, different types, but were both AMAZING. The bartender was so sweet and attentive. The chef came out and asked us how it was and I couldn’t compliment him enough. He’s definitely a 5 star chef!! You will not be disappointed coming here!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
