Unfortunately, not only the service, but the food and cocktails have gone downhill. We have loved this place in the past and have dine there several times. The food and vegetarian selections were awesome. The new menu has eliminated many choices. I ordered The Big Dipper. Smoked Gouda cheese toast implies melted cheese. The description is amazing. The actual meal served to the table is not. Our other entrees were on the same level. Truffle fries… chicken…flat bread. All flat. This can be overlooked when you frequent a restaurant, except when the service is lacking any quality of SERVICE. It’s a little frustrating to pay increasing costs for charging a bill wrong, repeatedly forgetting to bring what was ordered, or even checking in on a table to make sure they have the basics…a drink. I am hoping you will find this feed back helpful, bring back a better menu, and make customer service the heart of your business.
PHENOMENAL. Came here for a Valentine's night out with my boyfriend and best friends, and it was incredible! The menu is diverse enough to eat here for all kinds of occasions. It may be a bit expensive for some people's taste, but you get what you pay for--and in this case, it's DAMN good food. I had a hard time choosing because everything just looked so appetizing. (I will add pictures of some of the food, if I can find them.) For those of you going for the cocktails, I will say beware! I am a lightweight, and was tipsy after one...normally I can handle one cocktail with my mental faculties intact. Everyone is different, of course, but I thought that may be helpful information. My drink was delicious, nonetheless! I cannot recommend Novellus enough.
I heard good things about the half price appetizers. No longer has that.. Great things about the Chicken wings. Way too saucy Had the fish and chips the fish was amazing Thanks for that. Good beer . Great atmosphere
Came into town to visit my daughter, and we decided on this place for brunch. We were greeted right away. We didn’t have reservations so we opted for the bar. The bar staff was awesome! Super friendly and gave us great choices of what to order. All in all I enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back!
Food was under cooked for brunch. Pointed this out to my server just to let her know and didn’t ask or expect for any price adjustment as I ordered two plates (one for myself and one to share with my friend) and had plenty of other food to munch on. I ordered the French toast which was obviously undercooked as it was mushy, of the 4 slices, 2 were undercooked. Lady with the red hair came over when I pointed this out to my server and went completely on the offensive and told me if was just the cream cheese they use in the batter. I just explained that I wanted them to be aware and nothing more but she still seemed very offended that I pointed this out. In addition, I also ordered the chicken and waffles. Chicken was great but sadly the waffle was undercooked, crunchy on top but the bottom half was mushy like the French toast. I didn’t want to bring this up and left it as it was, since the lady with red hair might become offend, again. However great atmosphere just were hoping for some good food as we were celebrating a graduation (only 3 of in a group, and 2 of us had the same complaints that were listed in this review). They did try to make it right by offering to take off 5% from each item. Sadly, however, I probably wouldn’t go back for the food, but you can never go wrong with a drink, I guess.
