I had an excellent experience at Overland Optical! The young woman that assisted me was professional, detail oriented, friendly, considerate, respectful, warm, compassionate, kind, and funny! She made my day! Her compassion is commendable. With things as they are in the world today She shined like a beacon on a foggy, starless night! She went above and beyond to ensure I would have my glasses made without any problems and that they would have my no line bifocal in the correct area of my large frame!
Russ even took the time to double check the boundaries were correct, that was a wonderful feeling adding to the sense of security I needed regarding my glasses!
Other Optical shops stated they couldn't ensure the accuracy of the prescription because of the size of my frames.
I'm truly grateful for the staff at Overland Optical! Now I'm on tenterhooks waiting for my glasses to come in for me to pick them up!

I was very pleased with the service I received at Overland Optical. Dr. Lamprecht was thorough and addressed all my concerns. However, I was even more impressed with Janelle, the associate who helped me pick out my glasses. I was very indecisive and she could not have been more patient. She did an excellent job of helping me narrow down my selections, but at no point did I feel rushed. I left feeling confident in my choice. I look forward to doing business with overland optical in the future.

Lost two stars….
We always come here. In fact, we moved & drove an hour just to come here.
Scheduling was easy, staff were all pretty much friendly, wait time was nearly none, doctor was nothing short of AMAZING and thorough, picking out frames was pleasant and she was very, very understanding and helpful, but ultimately I needed to order the frames I wanted since they don’t carry them. I picked, priced & set aside glasses to order in case my online ones didn’t work and my husband bought a years supply of contacts from here. So, flawless visit.
After I got home I called back in to get a measurement (just how far apart my pupils were so I could order accurately) and Ms. J who answered the phone refused to give me the PD number unless I paid $25. I explained to her three times that I’d paid for an exam and already seen the glasses lady who measured me, and left with my prescription in hand…. And she told me the exam had nothing to do with the service of glasses fitting and it would again, be $25. I even insisted that I saw the lady jot it down and I know it’s on my file….. nope, $25 to tell me. I said, “I will just guess then” and hung up. It’s measured with a ruler over your nose…. Not super magic.
What a way to leave a bad taste. As lovely as the rest of it went, she alone did something that could possibly ensure I don’t succeed in ordering the frames I had my mind set on. Was she snubbing me for not buying through them even though I couldn’t ?

Wonderful staff. Let me start by saying Stacy is a rockstar. My daughter broke her glasses and I usually deal with Mercy but lately their service has not been so great. This was my first time ever dealing with Overland Optical.. I walked in today without an appointment and was helped immediately. I had a broken frame and lenses and walked out with a new pair of glasses for my daughter in less than 30 minutes. She is 6 and blind without her glasses. Stacy was on it ! She got the lenses in a new frame for me. Mocked up the fit of the frame based on previous broken frame without my daughter actually being there-they fit her perfectly. She knows what she is doing ! I highly recommend this place and will never go anywhere else. She saved the day & I can’t thank her enough. Thank you

I have been to both location of this business. Recently when I visited the chesterfield location to pick out glasses, I was rushed and the questions I asked about pricing of certain glasses was not answer. The older lady that attempted to help me was not pleasant at all and very sort with me but helpful to others. I will not purchase anything from this place, after the experience that I had.
