Great taste and great service.
This place went through a lot of changes in the name or the ownership and so.
Persis is absolutely great now.
They even started lunch combos.
I tasted the panner butter masala and the brad basket they are my forever repeated menu options.
The veg dim biryani is also good.
My friends have tasted their mutton biryani and have spoken great about it.
They even cam from the other part of the city just to eat this.
Ample parking and good service.
Easily visible from the road .
Desert options should be improved more.

We ordered some items in which some are good some are not.
I like paneer biryani here. This is best I can recommend.
Other than that samosa, veg fried rice and gobi 65 was also good.
The one thing I didn’t like is veg chettinadu
In which vegetables were uncooked. Veg Manchurian was also ok ok.
Tandoori butter roti was too buttery.
Try cheese naan here.

Never ever have I had piles and piles and piles of shredded cheese in a spoon full of basmati rice with a few very old tasting burnt potatoes, only 1 pea in it one onion in it and they called it Vegetable Biryani!! I tried to take out the cheese, but, all it was the shredded cheese and a few old tasting gross burnt potatoes like I mentioned and a pea… So disgusting! I threw it in a bag and in the trash. Not returning 🤮

Im a huge fan of chicken tikka kebab. Anytime I go to a new Indian restaurant that’s what I get. Everywhere does theirs a little bit differently so it’s always a bit of a surprise. I just can’t get enough of that tender, succulent, yogurt marinated chicken. Unfortunately I’m cursed with the cilantro plague. For me, and people like me, it utterly and completely destroys everything it touches. I ordered the chicken tikka kebab like I do at every Indian restaurant. “Spicy with no cilantro”. When it arrived at my table it was almost as if a prank had been played on me. There couldn’t possibly have been any more cilantro on this chicken. I will say, however, that when I asked the waiter for no cilantro I’m 90% certain he had no idea what I meant due to a mild language barrier situation. I can’t fault the restaurant for this, it’s just an honest misunderstanding. It’s my own cilantro intolerance that’s the problem. Aside from the unwanted herb, the chicken itself was decent quality but it was a smidge dry and the marinade did not adequately permeate the meat leaving it more on the bland side. Everyone else with whom I was eating loved their meals. They got the classic curry and butter chicken dishes. They were all very pleased. For me, ignoring the cilantro, the chicken just wasn’t up to par with other Indian restaurants. For reference, my all time favorite spot for tikka kebab is Flavors Indian Cuisine in Des Peres which is my highest rating ever - 9.7/10 clucks. This place gets 5.9/10 clucks. Come here for their other dishes. Very friendly staff.
