Clean, organized. They are always out of the dog food I buy. Staff never knows when dog food will be replaced in the store. Always have to buy online. Good pet grooming area.

PETCO nightmare. Just wanted to share the horrendous experience that occurred at our local PETCO (Mid Rivers Mall, St. Peters) Brought our dog Olivia in for a shampoo/haircut with Kenzie, after 30 mins of dropping her off I received a phone call from PETCO informing me that Olivia received a little "nick" and needed to be picked up. When I arrived, the staff tried to hand Olivia over to me and she was bleeding from her leg, which had 3 staples!!! I understand accidents occur, but this was a large and deep laceration, not a "nick". Moreover the total lack of empathy to our pet and to me as a customer. Management treated this as a emotionless transaction and simply said they would cover medical bills and the grooming fee. This was total negligence, In the end we requested that PETCO provide us with a home grooming kit, so that she didn't have to endure the possibility of being injured again. The manager said if they had to compensate for every injury that occurs they would spend a fortune... I was shocked at his cavalier response and the frequency to which he stated PETCO negligently injures animals in their charge. I am sharing this experience purely to help warn others to STAY away from PETCO St.Peters, for your animals sake. Please share if you'd like.

If you come to this location, totally book a grooming appointment with Kenzy S :) she does all of my pups, from my cocker spaniels to my husky. She is just super nice and gem and patient with them!

Everything was ok until you get to the register. The staff that check people have no idea of what they are doing when it comes to people that have vital care. They have no clue what discounts to give the customer and we end up paying more than what we should. If that's the case there is no point in paying for vital care every month. They need to be trained better. I've had vital care for the past 3 years for dogs and small animals, but they look at me like I'm stupid when I ask them if they put the vital care on it and the nutrition or supply discount on it and of course they always forget them 2. I'm very disappointed in that manner.

I wish I could give lower than one rating for the vital care at this location. Absolutely ridiculous and zero courtesy towards their customers. This is the last time visiting them and also complaining to BB on how fraudulent their services are.
