Pierre's restaurant is family owned and it shows. All of the food my family and I have ordered has been exceptional. I would love to try the pizza, but I really can't seem to tear myself away from the cannelloni. Ask for red and white sauce it tastes like heaven. Caesar salads are good. And if you have room try their homemade desserts. A nice Italian restaurant!
We tried Pio's for the first time April 25th. We ordered prime rib with pasta and salmon with baked potato and green beans. Both meals came with salad--which was just bag lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes. Very plain. The dressing was nothing special. The salmon was horrible. No seasoning and it tasted awful. It was white, which was weird. I sent it back because it seemed freezer burned. The green beans were like out of a can. The prime rib was half cold. This place is not worth the price and while there is ambiance and history, its obvious the cooks are serving cafeteria style food. This place was like a cheap hospital cafeteria. In fact, I've gotten better food in hospitals. We will not return.
If you are in the mood for Italian food this is the place to go. Right up the street from main Street St Charles. Friendly staff, awesome cannelloni, side note get it with both the red and white sauce. We also like the prime rib and the salads.
I usually order the lasagna here which is delicious. Tonight I had the Chicken Parmesan. It was great. Our son had Pio’s Chopped Tenderloin. He really liked this as well. My husband loves their Chicken Alfredo. We also like their pizzas, prime rib, fried chicken, salads, and so much more. Great, friendly service here too!
The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. It's a great place to go for a better pizza. Toasted ravioli are the best in town!
