This is a great marina! It's well kept, has on-site service, gas dock, boat store, shower house, covered slips, and the owner is there pretty much every day should you have any issues. Polestar is a nice quiet spot to keep your boat yet it's close to islands where you can beach. Restaurants and bars that are accessible by land or water are a short drive or sail away. If you prefer a marina with loud music and endless partying this is probably not the spot for you.

You can't beat a great guy like Pete Tully who runs a top notch marina, has a good eye for detail and is s great fiend of the river community - and mine as well....thanks Pete for all you do. Rick Flier Captain M/V Bubblehead

The new owners will take this to a very higher level. Not to mention, the marina was already great. BEST OF LUCK!!

The owner is very nice and keeps the grounds and docks in excellent shape. Also willing to work with you on your specific dock space and lift accomdations. The water level is good for the area so we could get our boat off the lift when the neighboring dock's boats were all stuck in the air.

Not sure what the gentlemans name was that is affiliated with this marina but took 3 kids fishing today and about 10:30, he comes walking up and says "Do I know you?" I said "I dont think so". He proceeds to say "you got some balls coming here. There is no fishing from the docks". My 9 year old daughter was less than 2 feet from me as he said this. Had he just said "sorry, we know there arent signs up but unless you are a member, you cant be in here" we would have had no problem packing up and moving. As a business owner myself, I think he could have done a better job at speaking in front of minors. Great role model you are sir.
