"The menu is focused on local, organic, and sustainably sourced ingredients wherever possible. Local farmers are an integral part of the restaurant by providing fresh, seasonal foods that minimize the carbon footprint while supporting surrounding purveyors. like-minded farms provide the flavors that reflect the region and are then incorporated into weekly features as well as the seasonally changing menu." So many great options. Service was excellent. My drink was never more than half empty the entire meal. Great outdoor seating option. Spinach and Kale salad with salmon added really hit the spot. The half bowl option was more than enough for a lunch serving.
Visited for the first time last night. We were celebrating two birthdays and had mix of vegans and non-vegans. We made reservations prior to visiting, which I recommend. They only sit your party if everyone is there, which can be difficult given the parking but it wasn’t a big deal. Our server, David was the nicest guy ever! He was able to answer all of questions, especially with us being first timers and for the vegans. He also got birthday dessert for the birthday girls, which was so nice! The restaurant itself was pretty busy with other large parties but there was no delay with getting drinks and food. The staff were helping one another out which was great. Definitely can’t wait to visit again!
Excellent!! It was my birthday and they allowed my kids to bring in cup cakes for me. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was fabulous really. Steak burger on gluten free bun, no extra charge for gluten free, but the burger was the best I've ever had. Seriously. Also I had the truffle potatoes and they were delicious. A great meal and I will certainly go back.
I'd give this place 3.5 stars if that was an option. I knocked off 1 star because there were crumbs on the bench seat and crumbs on the table. I understand if a table gets forgotten from time to time, but another party arrived at the table by us and had to request that their table be wiped down as well. We ordered the Paris Eggs Benedict and The Austin Texas. Both were good, but neither were what we expected. The pretzel with the eggs Benedict was so tiny. I could barely see it and definitely couldn't taste it. The Austin Texas was good, but the jalapeno corn biscuits should have been just a little more sweet to bring out the corn flavor and their was hardly any chorizo in the gravy. The potatoes were deceiving. They looked delicious, but they weren't crispy at all and seemed almost raw. I make potatoes in that style at my house all the time and it's not difficult to achieve texture and flavor, so I know it can be done. Also, it's nice when servers offer coffee when they see that you're out, but our server kept pouring coffee without asking before the cups were empty and before we had a chance to decline. It's annoying when you get the perfect ratio of creamer and sugar to have someone come by and ruin it. I didn't remove stars for this because I know intentions were good, but just a note.
Fair to poor entrees for five star cost. Cocktails and service was great. Appetizer was great. Then problems arose. The chef who prepared dinner might not be able to taste or smell. Mussels were so fishy and salty. Worst I have ever been served. Beef short ribs were fair with bland flavor. $200 for some good cocktails and bad food.
