Ordered glass over phone. They called back with great price and when it would be ready. Called back when it was ready to be picked up. And very quick turnaround as well. Great service
Katie and Amy were very quick to respond and they were very flexible! I completed my order almost solely through email and Katie just called when it was ready to pick up about a week later. Online Payment was also super easy to complete.
Review is edited after further communication with the company: Quality Glass and Mirror has made this right and I'm changing the one star to a three star. I felt communication was very lacking but I've been told there were some outside issues going on and I believe them. They have resolved this issue to my satisfaction. I would give it a five star review but due to the errors made here I was unable to accomplish my job tasks for several days. Things do happen though and so I understand every interaction can't be perfect. In business there will be issues but the true mark that matters is based on how things are handled when there are. I would say the initial interaction went south but quality glass made up for that and so I feel I must correct the record. So my rating is an average of the initial experience and how they handled mistakes. I think what's important is how they made up for the initial problems. They get a five star for that part in my opinion. Initial review: I made the huge mistake of doing business with this company. I would love to believe that it is merely incompetence or total lack of concern for their customers but I think it’s actually absolute dishonesty. Communication is not good at all. I asked for a quote for very specific glass at specific dimensions. I was asked if I wanted polished edges or unfinished edges and I answered. Days later I didn’t have a quote yet so I said, “If you don’t want this project, I can go elsewhere.” A quote was sent. I accepted and asked them to send me an invoice. It was sent and by transfer I paid immediately. Days went by and I heard nothing. I was just expecting a confirmation of receipt of payment and an estimated pick up date. I emailed, nothing. I called and left a message saying I thought I deserved some acknowledgement of my order. I was called and given a pick up date. It came and the only person there had to close early so I was told I could get the glass from a pick up spot. I took the cracked glass from my exposure unit to the dump and went to this establishment to find my glass outside with a post-it note on it. I got home and it wasn’t even close to the dimensions required to fit my exposure unit. I needed to work so I made a contraption to make it halfway work. That cost me $50. I emailed and told them the dimensions were wrong. It wasn’t even like mixed up numbers. I suspect I know why they had to leave it outside. Perhaps so I wouldn’t measure. To add to the insult I don’t believe it is the type of glass I need and ordered. The order was supposed to be fixed today but as usual they did not call. I will have to call and stay on them. This time I’m reviewing first and asking questions next. I just want what I ordered and paid for.
