I purchased a safe and contacted Mark to have it delivered. I told him that it would go up stairs and that I thought I had enough room but that I could measure anything for him as needed or take pictures etc. He said it should be fine and did not request any photos or further information. When Mark came out to deliver my safe, he looked inside and said he would be unable to bring the safe upstairs. Although there is no return policy on the safe, I was able to get it exchanged to a smaller size and Mark was able to deliver that a couple weeks later. It was an inconvenience and an ordeal having to exchange the safe, but Mark does a professional job. It may be nice to get some sort of instructions or measurements of clearance to customers prior to delivery when stairs are involved to prevent this issue.

I purchased a larger safe from a Liberty dealer. I called Safe Movers to get a quote and there were a few red flags to begin with; however, I brushed them off because I figured Mark knew what he was doing. When I asked for a quote he could only tell me the delivery fee+XYZ for any steps. I gave him the number of steps and again he could only tell me the price per step, not the overall price. I told him what safe I purchased from the Liberty and he agreed it could be delivered. We setup the delivery date, which was approximately 2 weeks later. The day comes for the delivery and Mark comes into the house and looks at my staircase and says that he won't be able to get it downstairs because of the machine he uses to get the safe down the steps. When I spoke with him on the phone, I described my staircase and even sent him pictures of the entry, hallway, staircase, and basement where the safe would be going. He agreed it could be delivered. At this point, I'm stuck with the safe due to the safe leaving the store. I cannot not return it. If Mark would have told me up front that he was unable to deliver the safe I could have explored different moving options or purchased a different safe that would have fit down my staircase. I ended up having to quickly carve out an area in my garage to place the safe. Mark wheeled the safe into the garage and placed it where I asked, but he left it on the wooden pallet that it came on. I still had to pay the $200 delivery fee. If using this company, make sure you get very specific instructions and do not let the safe leave the store unless you are 100% sure the safe will be delivered where you want it. The lack of communication with Mark has left me with the safe in the garage. I'm still exploring options on what I want to do with the safe due to the delivery issue.

I've used Safe Movers twice already. Once to move my 500lb safe into the second floor of a townhouse and then out of there to a third floor apartment. Both times they made it easy and paid attention to not mess up the floors or even get dirt on them. The value was totally worth it. Something that would have broken my friends' and my back, he did in 15 mins. Would highly recommend Safe Movers to anyone needing a safe moved.

We purchased and had a larger safe installed by a local Metro East business. The safe became defective so the safe company arranged fir Safe Movers to remove the damaged one and deliver the new replacement. Mark and his co-worker arrived on time for the work. They were both very professional and worked flawlessly. When they were removing the defective safe, Mark mentioned there was some snow and a blemish they made on the carpet on our basement stairs. That honesty and integrity is a rarity for workers these days. The blemish was nothing to worry about and was nothing permanent. Even if there was a worrisome issue with the carpet I would not have cared, due to their respected honesty. If we ever move or order another safe, it will be moved by Safe Movers.
