This is some of the best barbecue we have had in a long time. We are from Oklahoma where barbecue is plentiful. The pulled pork and ribs were fabulous. We ordered the green beans with tomatoes as a side and are not a fan. Served cold and barely cooked. Just not our thing. The atmosphere is delightful, a little noisy but that's what you get with a great restaurant. That popover thing was amazing. Highly recommend.
Nice casual place to get bbq. I had the 3 meat combo: ribs, burnt ends and smoked wings with coleslaw and mac-n-cheese for sides. Everything was very tasty, but I wish the ribs were more fall-off-the-bone tender. That being said, they weren’t tough at all. My wife and I were there with a party of 7 and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. I definitely recommend! Also, shout out to our server who was very pleasant and efficient.
There of us used a Lyft from a nearby hotel to this place on a recommendation from a friend. I am not a BBQ person but the pulled pork is to die for. Hubby loved it so much he wants to move here. It was slow when we first got here so we got a seat but it has filled up fast and it's just now dinner time. Street parking. Haven't seen a handicap parking spot anywhere so be prepared for a lumpy, historic, uneven walk to get here. Would definitely come again!
Salt + Smoke has got to be some of the best bbq I have had. They nailed the brisket and the balogne was phenomenal! Can’t explain it. The sides were literally all just as good as the main course. I wish I lived closer so I could come again. I highly recommend Salt + Smoke if you are in the area.
The salt and smoke restaurant is outside seating mostly. The ambulance was great. They had music playing lightly in the background with plenty of waitresses to go around. I got barbecue chicken wings and my granddaughter had barbecued ribs. Both of which were smoked for hours. The meat literally came right off the bone with no problems at all. They have homemade barbecue sauce that was made to perfection. My side dishes with creamed corn with baked beans hers she had french fries. The Ice-T was obviously made with love. I was so hungry that I didn't get a chance to take a picture of our dinner before we started.
