I've previously taken my car here for repairs, and a year ago made the mistake of going somewhere else only because it was closer to where I live. Needless to say, I learned my lesson. The staff at Schaefer is friendly and communicative. My car is back to perfect condition. I hope I never need these services again, but if I do, I will for sure be going to Schaefer!
They did an absolutely phenomenal job. Whenever I had a question Ryan was more then happy to answer any and all that I had. When there was a delay due to parts Ryan and the general manager both called to keep me informed WITHOUT ME ASKING. I HIGHLY recommend them over ANY OTHER SHOP AND THE PAINT WAS SPOT ON FLAWLESS…..2022 R/T
My car ended up being totaled, so I can't comment on repairs. However, the customer service was excellent. I can't remember the name of my "general contractor", but he was extremely helpful. He would call with updates and answer all of my questions in detail. Everyone I interacted with at Schaefer was friendly and helpful. Hopefully, I won't need any repairs in the future, but I would come back if I did.
My vehicle ended up being totaled, but I really loved working with Schaefer. 10/10 will come back for all my future needs especially due to the great customer service. They helped me with the process, and let me know what to expect from the insurance companies beforehand and were very detailed. The customer service in both departments was truly excellent. Nice, patient, and very knowledgeable employees.
RESPONSE: Why, exactly, am I supposed to be the one reaching out to management? It should be the other way around if they want to keep my business and resolve the issue. My name is on this review; it should be easy to look up my contact information in their system. Either way, are they going to tell me anything besides "I'm sorry we didn't honor our verbal timing commitment, but we're still not going to resolve the issue"? ORIGINAL REVIEW: They don't want business, apparently. Waited a month and a half following a hailstorm for an appointment to be "evaluated" for paintless dent repair as part of their process, which consisted of a guy looking at the vehicle for all of thirty seconds and telling me what I tried to tell them right away - that we received baseball-sized hail and PDR was not going to be able to fix it. I was subsequently told that it would be two to three months to get conventional dent repair. I called three and a half months later, and the lady with whom I spoke told me that it would be another two months at an absolute minimum, and that she would "never have said two to three months" before; based on her voice and attitude and having seen how many people work in the front of their office, I'm 99 percent sure that she was the same person who gave me the time frame, so either way I was flat-out lied to. When I told her that I was extremely disappointed with their level of service and would be looking elsewhere for repair, she responded in the most dismissively smug way possible. Terrible, terrible customer service. I would say do better... but when you're profiting off the insurance racket, you don't exactly have to.
