Slumberland Furniture – St Louis / OFallon

We have purchased 2 bedroom sets, a Sofa, and a Love seat from Slumberland in the past couple of years. We are now shopping for a 3rd bedroom set, and found one here. After pricing the entire set in the store, they then hit us with a $150.00 delivery fee. My wife asked for them to waive the delivery fee because we are a 3 time prior customer. The response we received is astonishing...... " We can't waive the delivery fee if you want the furniture in the house. We can deliver it for free and leave it on your driveway." Who wants furniture delivered to your driveway? It would be literally 30 more steps to take it in the house. I do not need set up, all I am asking for is to unbox the furniture, bring it in the house and take the trash away. I understand this is their policy, however what happened to customer service in the Furniture business. There are many places to choose, in fact 1 other store has the exact set we are looking at for the same price, including free delivery and set up. After speaking to Hillary (Store Manager), who we have dealt with in the past, says they will price match but will not include free delivery and set up. Obviously they are not price matching. We are not asking for thousands of dollars, we are simply asking for $150.00! Apparently returning customers do not matter at Slumberland, they would rather let me shop and buy somewhere else.....

Got some awesome furniture at great prices! Items from the clearance area were reduced to a bargain, and they reduced more at the time of sale because we needed a house full of stuff. Great people to work with!

We've been to this location twice now and both times we were lucky enough to work with Grant. He is a very nice person and an asset to your store. Will be back when we're ready to purchase a bed!

Rebecca starky helped us with our purchase. She was wonderful by letting us look without pressure, and allowing us time to make our decision without added pressure. This was a huge decision for us, and after checking several furniture stores, we felt the bedroom set we chose was the best quality, well made and stylish without being to trendy. Looking forward to getting it delivered and starting to use it.

Hillari was so helpful after I walked in to Slumberland hoping to find the same pillow I’d purchased 15 years ago. Turns out they don’t carry it anymore. Hillari could’ve let it go at that point but she made sure I left with a pillow that would work for me! Thanks for your excellent customer service!
