Doctors are good but staff is extremely rude. They deliberately hung up on me while asking questions that arose from them outsourcing their heart monitors to a 3rd party, Life Watch. Life watch, SSM Heart Institute, & my insurance all made contradictory claims & statements causing confusion, including how much the test would actually cost. I suggested a conference call to resolve the differences in their statements but SSM Heart Institute refused. Instead they became extremely rude, would not listen & kept talking over me and then insultingly hung up on me. The doctors themselves are decent but the staff has little respect for their patients with heart issues. They were supposed to monitor my palpitations but instead they were giving them to me by their refusal to listen and answer simple questions. You owe it to yourself & your heart to avoid the aggravation and raised blood pressure that dealing with SSM Heart Institute is going to give you.
Receptionist was nice. Jessica made me feel really comfortable despite me being nervous. You can tell she loves what she does. Thank you!
Was very discouraged with the visit and how it went. Disappointed with the employees sadly. Attitudes, rudeness and the staff seemed short like they were more concerned with other personal things and personal conversations before getting called back. The doctor however was great and very friendly and answered all my questions. As far as going back, I think we will go somewhere else.
