They gave me a hard time. I hate the way they treated me and my friend. I regret I didn't just leave. It's not o.k. to be intentionally mean and hateful. The only people who were consistently nice to me were the X-ray techs. Brooke went out of her way to be mean, rude, and hateful to me every time she saw me. I saw her giving me and my friend dirty looks. She's not professional. Scheduling told me they were having a hard time filling PA-C Matt Sotherin's schedule and kept giving me appointments with him, even tho I didn't want that and they gave me a hard time when called to change my appointments to see PA-C Jeff. Jeff was nice the first few visits, but then he changed. He winked at me twice during my second appointment, so I wrote him 2 letters. During my last appointment, Jeff didn't like my letters and he decided to be mean to me and I believe he told Brooke to do the same. I think Brooke told the receptionist staff to be mean to me. The receptionist wouldn't make eye contact with me. It was a very bad, negative, isolating experience. I'm relieved I never have to go back. It's over. I'm no pushover. I hated the way they behaved. They're immature, unprofessional, unorganized, and don't work well as a team. I'm irate. If you're like most people I doubt you'll have problems with Jeff. I guess he prefers people to be mean to him and not nice. Don't write letters to Jeff.
The reception / support staff were less than compassionate or understanding. Follow up appointments are difficult to get within a reasonable length of time. I will most likely not return to SSM.
Most unpleasant staff I have dealt with in the medical field. You'll have better luck at a total access, at least they will get you walking again.
I want to warn anyone thinking about going here. I had a simple arthroscopic knee surgery and it couldn't have gone worse. my knee is worse than before the surgery and I have severe nerve pain in my foot knee and neck and shoulde . I tried telling dr gelven who did the surgery and he dismissed it and told me I was wrong. Im currently living a nightmare bc of this and hope nobody else has to experience this. The nerve damage is affecting my whole body I can push on my neck and shoot fire down my leg into my foot. I think it's so bad my brain isn't telling my esophagus to open when I eat and having severe chest pain. I can't lift my leg an inch while laying on my back. I want to die and can't get any help
