Certainly wasn’t my best experience- didn’t wait that long but I drove, out of my way, 45 minutes and 45 minutes back. And took off work. I was thinking it was gonna be nice and professional because my God, a 45 minute drive there and back, it must be great for my primary care physician to recommend this to me! But no I drove all that way just for the doctor to see me for 5 minutes and act like I’m getting in the way of his schedule. While he’s obviously rushed, I didn’t feel like I got the best treatment. He might as well have rushed me out of the patient room without me knowing if my problem would actually get better.

After waiting over 2 months for my appointment a confirmation call turned into a nightmare. Leaving with no appointment and no resolution.
The "Care coordinator " told me they needed some test results at the appointment. I was not aware prior to this call they were needed. So being frustrated I became agitated on how I was to get this report. Instead of offering resolutions she basically blamed me for not having them and said if I couldn't get them we'd have to reschedule. After some back and forth I hung up. I called my primary and they had the record in question and faxed it over. To late though the coordinator had already canceled my appointment and rebooked it to someone else.very poor customer service especially when waiting months to be able to get an appointment date.

Waited 1 hr 20 min for an initial visit with Dr. Tull. When he walked in, I advised him that it is an hour and 20 minutes past my appointment time. Dr. Tull advised me that I was in the wrong office if I expected the surgeon to be on time. I told him he was correct and walked out. As I was leaving, he told me to contact him if I wanted a good surgeon. This kind of arrogance tells you exactly the kind of doctor he is. No respect for the patient or their time. Based on other reviews, I dodged a bullet.

My wife called to make an appointment. After about 10 minutes she was able to speak with a receptionist. Very poor connection on the phone. My wife asked if they could call her right back ( to try and avoid the long phone wait time ). The receptionist said, "sure". After verifying my wife's phone number, she assured my wife she would call her right back. My wife waited five minutes ... no call back.
By this time, I logged onto this website and saw the extremely poor reviews for this office. Like another reviewer, my wife feels like she dodged a bullet. SSM, you may want to look into this poorly run office.

SSM Health Orthopedics houses a wide variety doctors on staff to help those that need relief of the musculoskeletal system. The staff seems competent and professional. To reach the Orthopedic side of the building you need to enter through the Suite 117 door. Be sure to follow the advice of the signage.
