Deanna has to be the worst nurse I have ever dealt with. She came out to the waiting room to yell at me after asking the front desk a few questions about being turned away because they reached capacity of patients while we were the only patient in the parking lot. I was not rude , I didn’t yell. I simply was asking questions and was yelled at for doing so. I’ve never been talked to like that by anyone for simply asking questions. Do better.
Congrats SSM "Urgent Care", you get my first Google review. The staff was rude, made my wife go clear across the hospital to get an xray, then charged us over $1000 for the visit. She had an identical visit with the TAUC up the street two weeks later and it was faster, all in one place, much nicer staff and cost under $200. This is not an urgent care, its an emergency room with emergency room wait times and cost with a good measure of unacceptable rudeness thrown in. BTW, I called SSM to make sure the charges were correct and they said they were coded correctly, no apology, just pay up. Needless to say we will never be back.
Absolute horrible company! I have two children (Ages 7 & 9). Both children were sick with fevers and feeling very under the weather. After a couple of days of letting their bodies fight this sickness, I took them to SSM Urgent care located off Kisker Rd in St. Charles, Mo. SSM Urgent care told me there was nothing wrong with both children and they did not have a fever. I made them test both children multiple times (using their forehead scan thermometers) and they still told me nothing was wrong. They rushed us out of office as fast as possible. Unhappy with the results we drove straight to Progress West Hospital to find out both boys did indeed have a fever (one was 102.5 and one was 103.3). After to full check out at hospital, both children tested positive for Influenza A. At SSM Urgent Care, they made me question myself that both children were fine and should be in school. Thank God I didn't just listen to them. The Dr.'s at the hospital told me they need to get new equipment and there is absolutely no way they both spiked fevers in the 6 minute drive from Urgent Care to hospital. I truly believe SSM's business plan here is to get patients in and out as fast as they can without caring about quality of patients at all. Grab as much money as they can. I called manager at location and was then directed through SSM channels explaining my situation and was told they would waive the Co-Pay fee. This is ludicrous! I will never pay them one dollar of what they say I owe them. I will not be paying for a service I did not recieve! I will also never return to this or any other SSM location ever! Thankfully this was not a serious concern. I could only imagine what could have happened if it were. Be aware people!
Wife and I went together to be seen for the exact same issue. Asked to be seen together and were refused. Why? Patient privacy. We are married and came togethet for the same issue and asked to be seen together. Small rooms, you have a family of three that will emd up in one of those rooms together, I am sure wr can do so as well. Absolutely ridiculous. Wastes clinic time and resources and ours.
My wife went in with a verity of symptoms and pain, they told her she had floud in her ear and didn't do anything about it. She woke up the next morning with floud coming out of her ear, I had to take her to the ER and know she has a Ruptured eardrum. She's 3 weeks out from this incident and still can't hear from that ear. Someone needs to sue this place!!!
