They took a 1970s-era flourescent ballast (from pevious homeowner) with hazardous material. The workers are a great help, and the facility is an exemplary service to the community.

I wanted to Thank the staff at the Recycle Works - Central location. Nick and the other man who helped me dispose of the hazardous materials were very kind and understanding while I was trying to dispose of my late father in law's materials. I truly appreciated their kindness and helpfulness during a very difficult time.

Good free recycling center, they accept anything (including big batteries, oil, chemicals, appliances, etc), they don't accept glasses, styrofoam and plastic bags and small batteries
FYI - Battery Plus Stores accept small recycle batteries, most of grocery stores accept recycle plastic bags
always they have somebody to answer your questions and help you

I was really happy to find this place. In cleaning out my basement I had a number of items that I wanted to recycle that were not appropriate for our normal recycling service.
This place took everything I brought. Old pool pump motors, rechargable batteries, old Direct TV receivers and a few other metal items. The process was really simple and the person working on site was able to answer all my questions.
